He has been given another chance.......We should back him.......lets see what he can do and make a judgement at the end of the season. That should give him the opportunity knuckle to down a bit. He has already lost out on a runners up medal...so lets give him the benefit of the doubt and see how he responds to us.........
If you mean the Millwall game, if you kept up you would know that Falque is Cup Tied having played for Spurs it seems http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/PreviewDetail/0,,10280~2589649,00.html
I did devise a plan to help me cope with his return. This involved tapping Puncheon on the shoulder and when he turned his head, squirt water at him from the flower in my lapel . But then I read this article and thought St Godders would think very dimly of my immature behaviour and so have decided to drop the idea. But I haven't ruled out a cream pie in Jason's chops even if it does get me into trouble.
he'll get the winner on Tuesday against Cardiff and we'll all love him again. We msut support NA and NC's decision, no matter what we feel.
Words are cheap if not backed up. You can appologise all you like but you have to earn respect. Lets see the reaction he gives us the fans or the gaffer when he is dropped? after a below par performance or for a better player. These have been trigger points in the past. I for one will be pleased to see him back and performing like he is capable of doing. However a long road ahead yet for Punch to be cheered
If his performance is based on how the crowd react then the crowd should bow down to him everytime we get ther ball and all say "we're not worthy" If he puts in a lazy shift he has no excuses, hopefully he would see the funny side.
Well, leaving aside whether his change of mind is genuine or not, let me pose a question. Do you believe that booing a player makes it more likely that he and the team will perform badly, or make no difference? If you believe that it is detrimental to the player and the team, then booing lead to; 1. Poorer performance from the player 2. Poorer performance from the team 3. Logically worse results and a lower points total 4. Possibly, missing out on a higher league position and even promotion due to above. 5. Lowering of the market value of the player in the transfer market should the player leave. Difficult to see how any genuine Saints fan would boo any player wearing the shirt, regardless of how much they might wish he didn't wear it. Unless they had more resentment than brain cells.
I surmised that might be the case, it wasn't intended as a jibe at anyone in particular, just a quip, no need to get narky for Petes sake...
