I've sat in with the Cardiff fans a few times, i tend to go with Cardiff fans as I don't really know any Saints ones. Was never that worried as I was sat among loads of season ticket holder so they all new my mates and were ok with me being there (although i did get a ribbing when they scored).

The last game i went to however only two of my Cardiff mates went and decided to sit as near to the away support as possible, with all the aggressive thug looking people shouting abuse as Saints fans. I think i would have kept quiet if we scored in that situation, but didn't have the chance to make that decision as we were 2-0 down when I left. Stuck out like a saw thumb when i wasn't jumping around like an idiot when Cardiff scored though.

Also sat in the away section for Cardiff vs Saints at Ninian Park with very few others a few years back (before they knocked it down), that was an experience.

I remember going there a few years ago and it was intimidating enough just being in the away section!

I well remember being in a hospitality box at Leeds when we were last in the Prem - our penultimate year I think. I was warned to keep quiet if we scored as I was sitting 6 feet above a large group of season ticket holders. We did score and still don't know how I kept so quiet but it was worth watching the Leeds fans faces! We lost though so couldn't look smug for too long. Suggest you keep quiet and practice quiet celebrations!

Who remembers the old Dell archers rd end when there was no segregation? It used to be scary but fun at the same time when you were just a kid with fights going on all around you
