I've been stacked out recently so not really had time to join in so much.... I'll be buggered if I know what that is....
BLS has dropped the biggest clue so far. This car did not race, but a heavily modified version did a couple of years after when the team decided to give F1 another go (clue there too!).
Spot on. It's a 1995 prototype Lola. The lack of airbox was down to the 1995 rules where holes had to be cut into them to stop the 'ram-air' effect of airboxes giving more power to the engine so Lola (and Forti!) did away with the airbox completely. The project was scrapped due to major cooling issues that would cook a Ford V8 in 3 laps! Have some biscuits for your trouble please log in to view this image
If anyone wants to kill some time, someone has compiled a list of F1 Driver biscuit names. Still doesn't rival our cow thread though, surely?
With the placement of the oil cooler at the front of the car, i'd say def not 1976, but 1977, but the rear flip-ups make me think 1978!
