It's a new tactic from Tash, rather than insult whoever disagrees with him he keeps posting a new article on the same subject until people get bored and agree just to shut him up <ok>

    He's in our heads people!

to be fair i wouldnt mind having samba & taylor doing a similar thing as spurs with king &dawson , but i think there are as good, or better, younger players than samba at a lower price

There was that one time but that was due to your fragile medical condition and we all agreed to never mention it again... erm, sorry about that.

Just ignore what I wrote above. <whistle>

Nah he still isn't worth £7m. For that we can get better. Buy a real £8m CB or get a cheaper cover and wait for the real deal to become available.

Why don't you start another thread tomorrow Tash, maybe all of us dissenters while have changed our minds by then?

I admire your enthusiasm as always Tash, but don't agree on buying Samba. Sorry!

I agree that Samba is a good CB because he is an utter beast of a guy. But here's why I don't think it's wise to go for him:

    1. As the Fulham match proved, we're lacking pace in that position, Samba does not have the speed we're needing.
    2. We've proved we can buy quality players for cheap and on low wages. We could get somebody as good as him for less overall cost.
    3. He wouldn't want to find himself benched and with Taylor due back at the end of the season it'd be likely that he would be. Even Williamson could give him a run for his money at times.

NO! Nothing changed since your last Samba article, believe it or not.

    - He's too old
    - He's too expensive
    - We dont need another big lump of a centre half, we need a player like Colo for some balance and proper cover
