Steven Pienaar is growing increasingly frustrated that Tottenham are standing in the way of a possible move to Queens Park Rangers, Sky Sports understands.

The South Africa international is on the fringes of the first-team squad at White Hart Lane and a number of sides had looked at his situation.

But Spurs are digging their heels in and are demanding at least £6million for the former Everton midfielder - which is putting off potential suitors.

QPR, though, remain on his trial and are hoping to persuade Spurs to do a deal before next week's deadline.

    Frustrated
Pienaar, though, is agitated that he is being denied the chance to link up with Mark Hughes at Loftus Road.

A source close to the deal told Sky Sports: "Steven is very frustrated at what is going on.

"Spurs are pricing him out of a move, as they really don't want to let him go.

"We are now just hoping that Spurs lower their valuation and allow Steven to make the move."

When clubs know Sparky's got a decent kitty, they're going to take it to the wire to squeeze the max. Next Tuesday's going to be a busy day at LR

Why did Spuds take him off Everton in the first place? He was a key player for the Toffees but has hardly had a game since he moved. With Faurlin out and Derry getting long in the tooth Pienaar may be a good buy.

At this rate Sparky is going to have to weave more magic than David Blaine, Paul Daniels and Gandalf put together to get all thes players to sign.

IMO Pienaar would be a good signing. He looked a pretty decent player when he was playing regularly for Everton!

We seemed to be genuinly linked to 4-5 players now.
    Pienaar- Spurs
    Bloke from -Mali
    Samba- Blackburn
    Moses- Wigan
    Rod- Wigan

Would be really happy if we got any 2 from that lot.

Would be very happy if we got in Diakite and Pienaar, and a quality striker (not at all sure about Rodeaga, he hasn't scored much this season). Moses and Samba would both be a bonus.

Now Pienaar would be a great signing. Exactly what we need. I cant see Spurs selling him though I really cant!

Well according to 'Arry' he is not very bright, cannot spell, don't know how to use a mobile and his accountant does everything for him
so maybe we should ask the accountant?

I mean 'Arry' said in court that he is not bright.

Been thinking about 'Arry's' comments in court? If he is that stupid how is he going to get the England job?

That'll go to Neil now! FA won't employ Arry after this.

I know that you are not one for taking advice CB, but this is exactly how i would like to see so called ITKs post. If you make it sound like it's just your opinion then you won't look like such a fool if it fails to happen. :emoticon-0110-tongu

With the amount of injuries we have presently (HH and Gabby doubtful for tomorrow....DJ and Betty injured) and with Taiwo back in Italy waiting for his permit, we need to get more in....quick!
