I'd probably feel much higher on my grand stand if I didn't get seduced into such pointless arguments myself so often - but then again I do appreciate a sensible debate on the issue which we seem to be completely incapable of having on here. I put what I believe to be decent points across all the time but everyone seems to gravitate towards the provocative and small minded points made by others - because I guess a bitter pointless argument is so engrained in your conscience. Anyway instead of having such pointless arguments about who killed who - as a suggestion to put you on the path to righteousness - could you not argue about the political and social situations which lead to otherwise normal human beings developing to be as mentally ****ing bonkers as you two, maybe then you will understand each other's point of view and how it got there.
I know eff all about Scottish politics, and care less. But I'm guessing that Labour, the Tories and Lib Dems must have fielded some truly f*****g abominable candidates in Scottishland to make people vote for Salmon-Puss, no?
I see this thread has gone the way of so many others but i'll keep my own counsel as I can't really be arsed arguing one way or another and i'm biased anyhoo.
I think the Union should remain. If Salmond can put through that "offensive behaviour at football" bill, then I fear Scotland would be in for a rough ride if they went independant. But it's not up to me and I'm sure I won't lose any sleep no matter which way the result goes, I just hope it doesn't lead to the Troubles II
We are fine, the troubles wont start again. Paisley doesn't have the energy to get up on his soapbox and whip up the crowds to burn down catholic streets again and attack anyone who dares speak about nationalist civil rights
