Im off to see Nobby Solano do a talk in down the local boozer tomorrow night. Theres 70 of us in total so I'll be able to hopefully get a few questions in.

Do any of you guys have any questions I can ask him if I get a chance?

I'm going to ask him what his proudest Toon moment is...

And also if he agrees that Shola is ****...... As Beardo told me at a do last year that Shola was '****ing ****e' and a 'lazy ****'... (absolutely word for word that).

 

Ask him why he was at the Academy of Light .

 

Ask him if he fancies making a comeback. What's your local and is it an all ticket do?

 

i went to one with him couple of months ago was really good plenty of good stories, but very softly spoken make sure the speakers are turned up, and he doesnt have a bad word to say about anybody

 

Its a sell out mate, the scotch arms at Blackhill, Consett. Ive lost my ticket but almost live in there on a weekend so the Mackem landlord will let me off.... A good pub and me and mine host have a deal where, on derby day... Whoever loses gets a yard of ale bought and has to do it in one. My record is 1 min 10 secs... His is 20 secs...

Beresford is at the Demi in Consett in a couple of weeks and I think tickets may still be available for that.

He's had a lot more practise than you. I used to use a pub that often had the yard of ale contests, never tried it myself though, I like my beer to go down my throat not my vest.

I'm pretty sure River Plate and Boca murder each other now, or at least until River Plate got relegated. Nobby'll be pleased about that.

 

Id guess shola must be the longest as the players and management seem to see something we don't...
