Sorry for another Balotelli thing but.. Is he a persecuted genius, or just a whinging spoilt brat? Certainly a character on and off the pitch...but throwing his toys out of his pram seems a bit daft.... Mario Balotelli's agent has warned the striker could quit English football if he continues to receive what he sees as unfair treatment. Balotelli, 21, is facing a four-match ban after being charged with violent conduct by the Football Association. The City forward appeared to stamp on Scott Parker before scoring a late penalty to secure Manchester City's 3-2 win over Tottenham on Sunday. "I think he feels persecuted; he cannot go on like that," said Mino Raiola. Agent Raiola added on BBC Radio 5 live: "We had a very clear image of his career at the beginning and I told the press openly Mario will have to stay at Manchester City for at least three of four years, helping the club on this important project and grow as a man and a player. "Obviously if he's being banned every three or four games for one reason or another we cannot go on like that and there needs to be an end to that. "So if that's the case and English referees and the English FA would like Mario to go out of England then we would take that seriously in consideration, even if that's not and was not our intention. "He [Mario] is very disappointed about the decision. He loves playing in England. He keeps asking 'why always me, why does it always come back to me?' He loves playing in England and I think he feels persecuted."
Every incident should be looked at objectively regardless of the person/personality involved, and in the incident that is currently being investigated, the evidence against him looks pretty conclusive to me...If he can't except that then tough titty.
His agent should shut the **** up. Everything brought on Balloteli has been brought on by himself. If he's not happy he could always go and play spoilt bastards with Tevez. The lad shows no respect to anyone. Team mates, opposition players, fans. Spoilt little ****..
I would be surprised if he wasn't banned from acting as an agent and charged for bringing the game into disrepute. What he is suggesting is bribery - give Balloteli special lenient treatment, ignore his violent conduct or we'll move him to another league.
His agent is probably looking back in history to the shocking things that Shearer got away with by threatening to stop playing for England etc...
This. I think he's great. He's a character and he is still very young and a bit childish but a great player.
I love Super Mario! Sure, he's a bit spoilt and temperamental... but it all adds to his charm. I loved how he had the balls to try and score that back heeled goal that didn't quite work, he gave it a go, and lets face it - flair is always a good thing in a footie match (unless you needed the goal for the win... which city didnt).
I like Mario - yes he is a bit childish but he is a character and football needs them. This latest charge shows he is being targeted, IMHO. It is not conclusive that he MEANT to kick out at Parker at all. We have all seen incidents that look much worse in slow motion than they are at full speed and I believe this was one of them. I agree with the agent in that the FA are allowed to charge him only because Howard Webb now says he didn't see it. But if you look at the footage Webb is looking right at the incident and did not deem it worthy of a yellow card, so he is lying now because of all the furore. I think the fact that the elbow by Lescott and the eye gouging by Crouch were NOT considered worthy of a charge, shows Balotelli IS being persecuted by the FA.

His agent, Raiola is known for being a twat. He's Ibrahimovic's agent and when Ibra left Barca, Raiola began slurring and insulting Pep Guardiola until Barca simply refused to pay his agent's fees anymore. He also once lied about a 70 million pound bid for Ibra from Juventus in an effort to drum up interest in him - a horrible fellow. Was the stamp intentional? I'm not sure.
Bar the Liverpool red, which was bollocks, everything Mario has been pulled up for has been justified. That's not persecution, that's ONE wrong decision, and that happens to every player. The lad is incredibly talented, but he's a ****ing loony. The game needs his sort though (bar the head stamping), football is entertainment, and the lad is an entertainer.
Hadn't heard mate. Many cases of a players brother/cousin etc not being up to scratch. With MON in charge, I don't question a single decision on the footballing side, and that's nice!
