Good point - the last thing Blackburn will need in the run up to the end of the season is disaffected players who can have an negative effect on the whole team. Kean said he'd rather see Samba play in the reserves than let him go - he cannot be serious!
My ITK record is equal with CB now. I said on Bob's thread that we would sign Samba, Alex and Henrique, and added bids will be made for Onouha and Peinaar, one of which will sign
Onuoha is awesome , would have liked him to come to the Swans . Was great with Sunderland on loan last season . Heard he was on 60 to 80 thousand for wages , any truth ?
Vincent Company's Ban is up after tonights game so they can let him go now as he was only there as cover. So this could make some sense. Would like him in before saturday. I personally think it would be good to use saturdays game to bed in some new blood.
You're right! I checked it just an hour ago and you could still get odds on it then, 1/3. It's rumoured he will get somewhere around £50k a week. Rangerw9 they've said all along that he could leave as soon as Kompany's suspension was up, so think you're right there
If we get this guy before the end of the week I will be so happy. A class act and just what we need to strenghen the defence. Him and Anton in the Centre with Young and either Traore or Taiwo left back makes a great defence. PLEASE happen!!!
Totally agree , would be more than happy with a back four like that. He will bring some much need pace at the centre and cover at RB if needed. I'm really hoping Taiwo is a success, has the potential to be a fantastic signing i feel, Milan must have seen something in the summer and played 200 games for Marseille who are no mugs.
Taiwo can play left midfield as well so with him and Traore switching our left side should be quite strong. A centre back is the most important and Onuoha fits the bill nicely!
By Jacob Murtagh Jan 25 2012 NEDUM Onuoha is set to have a medical at QPR in the next 24 hours. Rangers agreed a fee in the region of £3million for the Manchester City defender last week, and boss Mark Hughes was hopeful of tying up a deal for the versatile 25-year-old before the weekend. However, the centre-back's mother and representative Dr Anthonia Onuoha warned on Friday that a deal was far from done. But the Chronicle understands QPR have now thrashed out terms with the former England U21 international, who is due to have a medical shortly before completing the move to Loftus Road. Everton would never even come close to affording his fee and wages. The odds have never changed, not even by last weekends turn of events, the bookies know they couldn't afford him.
Or are Everton just being more sensible with their Cash than us? I like that Drenche (think he's called!), the one that was at Barca. If they are so skint maybe he and a few others there are good targets for us, with so much loose readies!
everton are skint so are bolton. i think his mum has been trying to get his wages up with these rumours. but after tonight man city wont need him. so he should come to us as previously agreed. if we are prepared to give him 50-60 grand a week. Onouha and Taiwoo would be tasty.
Get him in quick then, all this hanging around and haggling makes me nervous.Patience has never been one of my virtues!
