Half....agee re rvp...the look his face was priceless...not for gooners but for everyone else it was. Guess he'll be citys next ex gooner huh? Not too bad a weekend for us in the race for top 4....liverpool and you stay still and chelsea only gain a point on us.
Hard to disagree with anything you say, although I think Utd will still take top spot. If you can only just scrape a win over the spuds, you don't deserve the title tbh
Arsenal v "Spuds" results, 2003-4: 1-2 (Arsenal win) 2-2 If that's not a 'just scrape', I don't know what is... Clearly, scraping a win over spurs is an integral part of the title-winning process. The reason Le Scum haven't experienced said process since the above results is largely b/c their record against us now looks a little something like this: Lost 2-1 Drew 3-3 Lost 2-3 Lost 2-1 Won 3-0 Drew 0-0 Drew 4-4 Unfortunately for Spurs, 'scraping a win' against arsenal doesn't mean you'll win the title, it grants you membership into a rapidly-less-exclusive club whose patrons include the mighty Swansea, Fulham and Blackburn.
Made more sense than this did to your lot... http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/arsenal-fans-boo-rvp-clearly-questions-substitution-of-oxlade-chamberlain-for-arshavin-2/
Well, I predicted we'd lose, and unfortunately so it was. I'm not at all surprised that we were screwed over by the officials, with fair decisions we'd be top of the league, but apparently that's life. Once again I point out that the Prem should follow UEFA's courageous, correct and innovative decision to bring in goal line assistants. Today it may not have helped, but overall it would have helped us, and I'm sure other attacking, footballing teams.
Van Persie: "NO! ****..." Oxo-Cube goes off: Cheers. Arshavin comes on: Boos, followed by a chorus of "you don't know what you're doing"!
PNP, I am shocked that you were unsure if that was unintentional, cause he had to reach back to get Parker. That is an out and out cowardly assault and if he did it on the street, he would go to gaol.
To be fair, it's natural to look back at something you've tripped on but that fall is just so fake, clearly intended to distract the ref.

?? Err Parker was down for a while. Lescott knew what he was doing but I believe the Balotelli incident to be more of a "problem". He didn't see the Balotelli stamp (which I am surprised you didn't think was intentional), has admitted as much and which is why he's staring at 4 games now, which he deserves the nasty piece of work. And the penalty was a nailed on penalty in the 4th minute of added on time Probably heat of the moment, but I thought you played well and were just unlucky
Err the Parker incident is probably the extra minute, you know where you didn't think Baolotelli intentionally stamped on him?
if bib was not on the pitch, which he should'nt have been, there would not have been a penalty, and we would have got a draw, another ref costing us points
Seriously, what a tool.... Defoe didn't "fluff" the chance it wasn't even really a chance because he was half a boot short of making a proper connection.
Webb didn't give a second in the first half, yet somehow managed 4 in the second, prior to the penalty. It was excessive. I thought that Balotelli's stamp was deliberate on first viewing, then wasn't sure having watched one replay. My initial thoughts were clearly correct. I have to agree with your assessment of Lidls' version of events, though.
4 goals, 4/5 subs, 2 facial injuries and a handfull of corners and freekicks. I'd have been disappointed if there wasn't atleast 4 minutes given, PNP.
3 subs, YV! One of the commentators made the point in the build up to Bale's goal that City were unable to get Balotelli on, as play hadn't stopped for so long. That was typical of the game as a whole, which featured quickly taken set-pieces, few subs and only two treated players, both of which were done rapidly.
