Hi guys just wondering what your opinion is of Matt Jarvis. IMO he is a cracking winger that would fit on to either of our wings excellently. We have not been linked with him, but I can see it happening one day:D How much do you think he would cost? And would is he the kind of player we need (obviously after a CB and posssibly a FB)

I think he would be a good signing, although he has gone off the boil this season. On the bench for quite a few games.

I'd wait until the summer and see if Wolves go down, if they do then about £5m? Although, Hoilett for free would be better :)

Not ranting mate but I don't know how many time I have to say this on Hoillett related threads but Hoillet CAN'T levae on a free at the end of the season, due to his age the fee will be agreed by tribuniral which should be somewhre in the region of 4-6million!!

Jarvis is ok but I think he's had his 'season' .. before that he looked good in a generally poor Wolves team, he's quick, he's tricky .. but he's not got a good scoring record and his end product, after he's beaten a couple of players, is pretty poor ... he's a bit like Shaun Wright Phillips, goes off the boil .. he might shine in a better team, he might not - (Charlie Adam syndrome) not good enough in my opinion ..

I don't disagree with anything gotcoffee says there apart from the comment about his end product. He very rarely fails to put a decent ball in with either foot - that's why he's tricky to deal with as he can happily go either side.

I'd defo take him as cover for both wings, if we're in europe we'll need back-up players of his standard.

To be honest and a bit harsh Jarvis has been really average since he got called up for England. Eying that thou we do need to start building a squad with depth so I wouldn't be against him signing

What a crock of ****. He sets up 90% of their goals. Great player, watched him many times for Gillingham and he was genius. Still is now, great end product, possibly should score more, but not many wingers score (Jonas?!?!?).

Why should we go for him when we can get Hoillet on a free?
