Remember him vaguely playing in the premier league a few years ago. Could be a coup if he finds form.

A really good signing if we can get him up to speed quickly, he's not had much action this season. A real box to box midfielder who should add some much needed quality to the side.

from what ive heard and what my memory serves, this is a very good signing. who will he come in for though, bloomfield or lewis?

plus, and i notice this with a lot of waddocks loanees, why only a months loan? its always possible he couldnt get him for longer but this leaves us in the position in a months time where we will be back to square one without laing or harper. good signing though!

If this is same fella that was at Reading a few years ago then you have a great player here. I saw him play many times as a young player and thought he would be destined for better things. He obviously didn't make the top grade, but I certainly think he be able to make a difference in league 1 and enhance your recent resurgence.

It's true, but like with Trotta, if his presence in the team secures us a couple of points that we wouldn't have got otherwise over the next month ... that could be the difference between survival or relegation.

I'm sure we'd have preferred you to take him for the rest of the season, he's not got a chance of playing for us and his contract expires at the end of this season, so we've been trying to move him out completely. He'll probably do a decent job for you, but he's not the player he was at Reading a few years back and he's main role now seems to be to point a lot(you'll see what I mean).

He also has a tendency to wear shirts that are too big for him and no shin pads with his socks down, the scruffy bugger. <laugh>

    Good luck anyway. <ok>

That's Barmby's new policy in terms of loans. He'll send them out for a month, if they are enjoying it and are playing regular first-team football then they can stay until the end of the season<ok>

I recommend his interview on the Chairboys Player - he seems like a really good laugh.

I watched that, not only is he a good laugh ("if he doesn't play me I'll hit the roof!") he's also raring to go and get stuck in and seems as though he has a point to prove. Which can only be good for us.

The guy seems a sandwich short of a picnic, but wants to get out there and give it his all!
We need a bit of passion back on the pitch now Ainsworth has almost hung up his boots. A great signing for us, hopefully he enjoys his first month and extends it to the rest of the season

I think I'll reserve judgement. He didn't seem to care if he had a bad game as long as he could play. Also he indicated that it might take 3 games before he is really effective. Hope that doesn't mean he feels there is a possibility that he could be a liability in his first couple of games and that's his ready made excuse. I didn't know what to make of his comment about something going on behind the scenes that might have prevented him playing.

I'm probably being over sceptical and hope it's just a case of over enthusiasm and lack of articulacy on his part.

How long is it since he's played a league game?

    Just checked. It's 3 months

Chairboys boss Gary Waddock told the club's official website: "He's played the majority of his career in the Premier League and Championship.
"You don't achieve that without being a very talented footballer."

    .......................................Unless your name is Duberry.
