Who would you sell in the summer?

Me? Personally this would be my list :

GK : None. Although I may be tempted to sell Harper so Krul and Forster can battle it out for the NO.1 spot.
RB: Perch. Championship class... how much might we get out of him? Possibly around 500k - 1m.
    CB: Sol - Free Agent.
    LB: None.
RM: Raylor. Good crossing ability, set-piece delivery and a hard-worker but lacks pace, skill and IMO is a poor mans Barton. May get around 1m - 1.5m.
CM: Smith. High-work rate, good pro, decent squad player but IMO he's past it and may not be of any use next season with his wages/possible Ireland signing and Vuckic getting promoted. May get around 1m - 1.5m if lucky. Don't know who'll take his wages though..
    LM: None.
ST: Ameobi. Frustrating to watch at times, inconsistent, past his best, only scores against the mackems, no technical ability, very slow, lethargic at times and not the best of work-rates, ALTHOUGH I like him & always will but he's past it IMO & it's better to sell now than in 5 years! May get around 1.5m-2m.
ST: Loverman. Frustrating, inconsistent, past his best and IMO a very good Championship player but a very average PL player. Get around 500k - 1m???
    Kuqi expired contract.

You just can't sell Harps, it would be disrespectful to sell the guy after 20 odd years of service to the club, most of which has been on the bench

pretty much this, although prepared to give Perch another chance and due to his versatility could be an OK back-up

  5. Harper has been nothing short of excellent for us. Let him spend his last couple of years here, since he waited so long to get the opportunity, and he's done more than enough to keep the no 1 spot.
Harper should only be sold if he starts performing poorly, or another keeper is better than him. Krul is a good keeper, but Harper is better, and we don't know how Forster will do.

Perch (if actually possible...surely we can't be the only suckers to buy him?), Lover, Raylor, Smithy

3-4 mil possible I'd say, plus Smithy's wages off our hands. Great bloke but he can't cut it at this level anyway. Will no doubt be missed in the dressing room but he needs to move on, as does the team.

  7. Perch, Ameobi, Smith, Raylor, and if we have to sell him i suppose Routledge. Routledge shouldn't have been loaned out. He's much better than Smith, Perch and Raylor

Can't sell Harps, he's still a top class keeper, make some great saves against Everton.
Even if we have 2 great young keepers, he's number 1 til either can displace him permanently.

Damn, yeah, Xisco too! Totally forgot about the guy, shows how much we remember him haha.

I'd kinda like to keep Routledge...unless we find a definite replacement. He's good for back up, what with our injury record!
How about straight swap with Leeds...Smithy for Gradel?

    Keep Harps.

    Sol out on free.

Let Lover stay for his final year.

Smith/Xisco can go loan or for a modest fee aslong as they take all his wages.

Keep the rest as we need depth which alot seem to be forgetting.

I'd possibly like to keep Sol, for experience for the younger players? He likes it here too apparently. Good secure a good coaching role after retirement.

Unsure about Leeds getting promotion this year if I'm honest. Only just in the playoffs (6th), not sure if they'd win the them either.

True though, I'm sure they'd rather keep Gradel than have Smithy back if they get promoted. If they don't though I'm sure Gradel will be wanting to move to a Prem league team, he's got a lot of teams after him at the minute by all accounts.

I personally wouldn't sell or get rid of anyone unless we get players to replace those we have at the minute, or if a club wants a player. We do need depth and selling our "second team" players isnt going to get us very far.

If we did sell one of our keepers I'd prefer Krul to go. He hasn't convinced me bar a couple of great performances in Palermo and at West Brom at the start of last season. Harper, Forster and the young keepers (Alnwick and Soderberg) and we're covered. If someone offered £3 million for Krul I'd take it. Maybe if we are after that Dutch winger Lens then we could p/ex Timmy.

Smith, Lover and Perch would go.
I'd keep hold of Xisco as Pardew could do good with him. (Look at Best, we all thought he was ****e under CH, yet pardew gave him his chance)
Campbell is good for experience and helping younger players develop.

Perch, Smith and Xisco - and only if we have replacements lined up, as we need depth.

Depends who we can get in before we start selling. Can see Smith, Guthrie, Xisco, Routledge, Sol, Krul (prefer him to go than Forster) going in the summer. But we need to build a squad that can compete in the Prem so would be wary about selling too many.

I'd give Perch another season to see if he can settle and improve and Sol a coaching role. Smith will be a loss for us in the dressing room if not on the pitch.
