I don't think there is anything in the Brighton link and I would imagine fergie would want Owen for the uefa cup

Thing is, even if we did sigh him..... he will be injured all the time and f-all use to us!

 

Think this is why he has stayed @ united because he knows he will be a bit part player wherever he goes, due to his injuries

 

Injury prone Owen would last about 30 mins in the Championship before being snapped by a clogger and would be a massive waste of wages. THe way he has conducted himself over transfers etc shows that he's not bothered about plaing football, as much as I hate the use of the term 'hungry footballer' a club like us needs 'hungry' players who want to play for the club and be part of the team, rather than a mercenary who couldn't give a ****
