Does freedman know I would of thought he would want mcshane to concentrate on the league cup semi final !!!
Basically means that he's regularly being mentioned in people's tweets. The top ten in your country are always listed, and the minute he's number 10, ie it's 'trendy' at this moment in time. edit - In fact, he's already off the list, replaced by 'Cardiff'
How come Palace have statistically one of the best defences (the best?) in the league, when their defenders are Gardner and McShane? You can't explain that.
Cheers for that. Presumably it's just a case of being mentioned, with no qualification of it being a compliment or otherwise? For the record, I don't mind McShane, he's a grafter that never goes missing.
Let's be fair here, if you put ten men behind the ball every game and just hoofed it forward to two quick players on the wings or upfront your defence would do well. Palace are a shocking team, they dive, they push they pull. The literally are one of the worst teams at the KC this season. They play for the draw every game, hence why their defence does so well. However Macca was superb tonight, anyone who says differently is looking at him with bias.
To make it even more specific, all 3 of them were on loan to us at some point. Having noticed the other week that 11 out of the 12 games involved players we used to have on loan I'm sure there must have been a round of games this season where there's been at least one in all the games.
That is one hypothesis. I thought Watford were worse though, and Derby were similar to Palace. There's far too many teams like that in this league IMO, it's what makes me crave PL football so much.
I'm finding it tough to decide between the two, I think the Palace game was the one where I was most in disbelief about us losing, but the Watford one was the most satisfying victory for a long time, just because of the fact they deserved to be beaten in that way because of how they'd approached the game. The fact we took the piss by copying their goal celebration suggests the players thought the same. I think I'd go for Palace being the worst though, and purely because there plan was to play for the draw and nick one if they got chance, Watford's was to put Iwelumo against Chester in the air to get them ahead and then piss away 5 times the amount of time they should have been allowed at every occassion.

I only hope someone pays a ridiculous transfer fee for him before they realize his one GOOD game per season has just been played .lol
