They are postponing the SOPA hearing another month or so, i think its a plan so that the attention dies down and they can try and force it through

Also who rates topicsin the first place and who rates topics like this down?

Ive recently noticed all my topics get rated 1 star and megadeaths topics always get rated down aswell, who is sad enough to do this? Personally i dont mind as ive been posting infrequently here for almost a year now and ive only just realised today, i think some people are just overly anal douchebags. Its good to see that the person who posts the most on the board is actually one of the least douchey.

Tash rates all of his own articles 5* apparently. I never even look at the ratings.

I rate my articles 5 star to try and counter all the 1 stars. It's only fair if people are going to give my articles 1 star for no reason, I should be allowed to give them 5 stars.

I diddnt even know you could rate your own articles, why does everyone rate your articles 1 star?

Are they that childish and petty?

This board is actually a kliq or something?

Its pathetic, i dont mind getting 1 star rating what bothers me is that we live in a world with so many petty people who gain some sort of satisfaction from being negative. Cant we all just get along? the folly of the human race throughout history is our own hubris, will we ever learn?

I'm confused that you can use a word like 'hubris' and then misspell 'clique' so badly.

I dont think anyone ever mentions or reads them (until now), I often forget they're there. People only rate your articles 1 star because you have rated them 5 star <laugh>, or because they think they're ****.

I do it because if people see my name then 1 star next to an article they'll think "hmmmm, oh since everyone's rated it 1 star, it's just another typical **** tash article, I wont waste my time with it".

If the article has at least 2/3 stars then people may think it's worth clicking on.

"The Kliq (sometimes spelled as Clique) was a backstage group in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) during the mid-1990s"

I'm not sure what point you were trying to make with that.

The rating doesnt matter dude, its the fact that people are sad enough to rate it one star in the first place that matters. Its just a sorrowful reflection on how negative society is these days.

I think the point is self-evident if you read the first section of the article.

So, just to clarify, you were asking if this board is full of people from a backstage group in the WWF during the mid 90s?

Even if this law does pass there will always be new torrent, streaming and music sites to acquire pirated material on, it would be absolutely impossible to ban it altogether.

ACTA is a far bigger threat at present. SOPA and PIPA are temporarily stopped.
