I rate Lee Lucas highly, the next Joe Allen. Give him a season playing first team football and he will come along nicely
yes but your 4 shots on target were crap there was only the free kick which Mig had to save. What you not understanding your not as good as what you think, we missed 2 great chances from larsson hit the post and Wickham missed a sitter who cares, we won cause were better than you which you'll know after 38 games. They must of been the 4 worse shots on target ever, cause i can only remember 1. You deserved nothing and got nothing
Barca play the same way as us so try telling them they're doing it wrong. Keep glossing over your poor team which hasn't changed since you came to our place. You'll survive comfortably but you're really not that good, and Saturday was just one of those days for us. Teams that can finish would have been out of sight half time. Just thank your lucky stars you've got MON who has the ability to motivate. 2 shots on goal at home? Come on. Two superb goals but had they not gone in you'd be upset with that stat. Dai: If it's 'not your job' to pick the team why do you keep insisting that Rodgers got his starting 11 wrong on Saturday? OK, if he got it so wrong who would you have picked? It's not an unreasonable question. Classic, the difference is Barca pass the ball forward and score goals you don't......That's the most comfortable win at home this season for me. Im surprised our players did'nt go for a cup of tea while you passed it sideways and backwards could not have put a better answer,,,,some swans fans are so blind its unbelievable......well said that man..spot on..
Which was Sig's free-kick .... and I agree the other three shots were totally unremarkable. I can remember the Sinc miss though, which should have been buried. And this is the critical point. We look as pretty as pretty can be, but get into the box and we still look pretty awful. A work in progress that has to be worked out pronto.
final third and finishing away from home is the worst in the premiership.....makes my point valid would you say....
Yeah well get your head out the sand and stop making out as though your Arsenal or Barca its pathetic........you beat Arsenal last week and all of a sudden you think your up there with the best. Im being honest i was bored ****less watching that I couldnt believe how much you could keep it in your own half............And you enjoy that????????
dyno at home we are good but away from home then there are many swans fans that agree with you....we cant hurt anyone in our own half however much we have the ball, we are the worst team in the premiership away from home yet we are one of the best in possession and passes made and a trained monkey knows that without turning all that possession and passes into goals then you are going nowhere........
The answer is simple, and I don't want any Jacknumpties interpreting this the wrong way, as if I'm having a go at Graham, but we are missing a top Striker, Graham is doing well, but he is no Borini, and I know I have said this all season, but it is an issue, that is magnified also by the fact, that Sinclair has not brought his skills to the Prem this season, it's just simply the Striker issue is back to haunt us, look how good we were with Borini, and Rodgers has stated, that this is one of his priorities, but come on Buck, Maynard?? Whats that all about!............ please log in to view this image PS: by the way I don't agree with Dyon, Sunderland were crap all game, the only thing they had that we didn't was better forwards on the day, I would never go and pay to watch that crap served up as footy!.................
Sunderland might very well have been crap all game ..................................... but who got the three points? Brendan has to realise that the name of the game is goals, especially away from home. Having massive possession and domination is all well and good, but not in our own half. The damage is done in the final third, not passing sideways and back in our half. Chuffing hell get the ball forward and cause the opposition some grief for jah`s sake.
Blackpool played entertaining attacking football your just boring.........You know Im right just sour grapes cause you gave us an easy match.
Well I think we've established you were bored , now jog on back to the cold north and let us bemoan our lot .
"Chuffing hell get the ball forward and cause the opposition some grief for jah`s sake. " And thats exactly why none of the home countries will win nothing at Euro and World cup,the talent is there in English football as our team of lower leaguers has shown its just that people have an old fashioned view of how football should be played.Lumping it forward is what alot of fans expect and want to see,it is changing though and i think in a few years time the younger managers like Rodgers, lambert, martinez and adkins will move forward from the type of football produced by MON, Bruce, mcleish, pardew and pulis. Congarts to Sunderland on the win, no sour grapes from me, you had a bit of quality where it mattered and we didnt, we are totally different away from home and it does irk me sometimes! Good luck for the rest of the season, made the right choice getting rid of bruce
I was at the game and I can say that we did not lump the ball up at all. We play on the couner. Passing and moving the ballforward at pace when we get it. It is a different style.
