This isn't a serious thread and it won't get any serious replies. The Easter Bunny did it, by the way.
In the words of Dara O Briain: "Just because science doesn't know everything doesn't mean you get to fill in the gaps with whichever fairy tale most appeals to you."
Thats a good question and I will attempt to answer it Basically the truth of this is that we dont know where he came from as we are creation. Islamically the answer will be explained, however I dont want to get into specific religions as that confuses issues at the early stages At the first stage its acknowledging tha the universe didnt create itself, didnt come out of nothing (this is backed up by modern cosmology etc as everything has a beginning)and had to have a cause It is this cause that is the creator, what that creator is isnt important at this stage What we can conclude though is that as creator he cannot be part of creation, as he created it and to be part of it makes him creation too as for the argument some get into that who created him, created him etc etc , This is also illogical as it would simple be infinite regress
I think you will find science does explain the creation of the universe Modern cosmology/science point to a starting point for time, space, energy, matter based on the beginning being finite so there id a defined starting point which is accepted, there is also the accepted notion of nothing out of nothing equals nothing there has to be a cause
Modern cosmology points to no such thing. The best thing we can say at the moment is that our mathematical predictions and empirical observations break down in the high-energy, opaque state in the early life of our universe. If God doesn't have to have a cause, the universe doesn't either. If the universe needs to have a cause, then so does God.
If the creator isn't/can't be part of the creation then how can he be the creator? I don't see why people should have a use for a God anyway, he's a sadist if he does exist and has no real purpose apart from giving people the excuse to brainwash those 'below' them.
The universe is the 'creation' it has a beginning and an end therefore it clearly has a cause. God however isnt creation or part of it, he is the creator so doesnt have a beginning and an end The fact is that we can go down the cause, has a cause, has a cause ....... or infinite regress argument, however that would mean that theuniverse wouldnt exist eg, if i need your permission to type on here , you need someone elses, he needs someone elses.........then we wouldnt be typing as the permision would keep going
I assume the last bit is based on specific religions, in view of that is why I didnt want to discuss 'god' rather creator, as it confuses things when you have preconcieved ideas for example if we go with my 'not part of creation' argument then the white bearded white robed guy CANNOT exist, as that is what we {creation} look like and he is not creation The sadist bit also falls into the category of preconcieved, its like if you do something bad and your mum slaps you, she doesnt stop being your mum but again this is a debate for another topic imo
