hey all ...your resident doom monger liverpool red here. couldnt get a ticket for the cup game so ill be making do with the tv plus a few pints ... just wanted to firstly make a point that i see chelsea have been accused of racist behaviour now 3 times and nothings been said online or the media ....or people like jason roberts wading in with his views (i did agree with a lot of what he said about suarez to be honest) our club has been through the ringer ...and people have taken great delight in labeling us a racist club...which for me ( life long red with loads of asian and jamacian mates was was just horrible) anyway ...my point here is ...we really shouldnt boo evra come saturday because its gonna look like we are booing a player who isnt white ..which is going to look bad .... i have despised him long before the thing with suarez but im hoping no more damage is done to our GREAT club . views fellow reds???? (not trying to wum or be disrepectfull)
I think you are dead right, we should concentrate on cheering for players who are in red and onthe pitch. no abuse of rooney or nani or evra, no chanting for suarez. There is zero need at all when utd are down players, not looking that hot to give them an excuse to dig in aorund an issue. if the most unsympathetic to the issue at hand should realise giving ferguson something to motivate his lads with is a bad idea.
Couldn't agree more, what happened happened and this needs to be left alone. But unfortunately this will not be the case and Evra will get booed big time.
Exactly. No matter what anyone say's or does Evra is going to get dog's abuse at Anfield in every game he play's there until he leave's England or retire's.
I say we cheer for him, that would throw him off a bit! Wonder what the media would conjure up.........
There are some decent comments on here, that even if you disagree with all that has gone on, make good sense. others, could not demonstrate any less gorm if they tried I reckon Dalglish ( not saurez, as by your clubs admission, he is just an ignorant foreigner who didn't know what he was doing ) should remake this video and you should show it before the game. You could get lenny henry, Frank Bruno, Charlie Williams, Kenny Lynch, Clyde best and Rudolph Waker to do the walk ons . . .
So you using a racist phrase("he is just an ignorant foreigner")and attributing it to LFC and blaming Kenny Dalglish for the whole thing makes you feel better. And your unfunny suggestion of using black sportsmen and entertainers(including a now dead comedian that made a fortune out of slagging his own race)to do a derogatory remake of a U2 video is a little bit weird Robo.
That, in a nutshell, IS Liverpool's defence, which as you quite rightly point out is racist in itself. Well done ! Irony not your strong point ? A genuine apology may go some way to make some people "feel better', but not likely, is it. yourself Here's another idea for an apology 1. igâ¢noâ¢rant/ˈignərənt/ Adjective: 1. Lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated. 2. Lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular: 1. forâ¢eignâ¢er/ˈfôrinər/ Noun: 1. A person born in or coming from a country other than one's own. 2. A stranger or outsider
Tut Tut,your ignorant foreigner remark was something you conjured up in your head and not a direct quote. You've been besotted with the Suarez thing for a while now Robo and maybe its time to let go. And using Charlie Williams as a racially calming factor in your video idea was reet funny cock.
tut, tut You've not identified the fact that Liverpool's whole defence of the racist behaviour exhibited by Saurez relied on the beliefs that Saurez is "A person born in or coming from a country other than one's own. 2.A stranger or outsider" and is/was " lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular " ? Seems your posts are as disingenuous as your club's apology. And still struggling with the irony ? I am neither besotted with the racist actions of your player, nor message boards in general, as the comparison of the number of my posts to your own reflects. The gormlessness of some Liverpool supporters is truly astounding though and I can't abide a hypocritical liar
In case its escaped your attention the Suarez case is done and dusted,And i dont feel the need to identify anything to you and its rather ironic you cant see that im extracting the urine. As for the my/your number of posts on this site and messageboards in general i think you'll find that your trolling of many other sites more than makes up for your time on here. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=e...0l1997173l11l11l1l0l0l0l373l2192l0.4.5.1l10l0
Hello stranger,i hope the holiday is going well. As for Rob he cant see the wood for the trees. [h=4]Black player abused[/h]The life of Leeds player Michael Duberry has been ruined by the trial. He said that Woodgate had told him on the night of the attack that they had "just had a fight with some Asians". Within hours of Duberry giving evidence, thugs dressed in balaclavas turned up at his home. They demanded to know where the "black bastard" was. He has received hate mail and abusive phone calls, including threats to kill him. Phone operators at Leeds United football club have been reduced to tears by the phone calls. Banners have been seen at matches saying "Death to Duberry".

http://www.socialistworker.co.uk/art.php?id=12673
