    For the first time this year I've noticed supermarket adverts on TV about Chinese New year. No idea why.

    well let me tell you

    Basmati rice is like wine, as in some regions are better than others
    In this country the focus is on Indian grown basmati which is quite expensive
    In fact Pakistani grown basmati is better, eg the Laila brand

    These days a 20k bag of laila basmati is around £20

    However in the asian stores they have the same 20 kilo bag of laila basmati for less than a £10, reason being its 20 kilos of broken basmati

    broken doesnt mean so small thta it is powder etc, and cooked you cannot tell the difference

    The Tids don`t eat Basmati you dumb **** ,they eat Jasmine fragrant rice....... A 5k of Dragon rice is about £13 ,it is more than double the price because it`s much nicer...... When the Chinese rule the World we will all be celebrating New year when they say so...
