Are you happy playing Counter break football ie playing non possession (defensive) football and catching teams on the break?

It seems Sunderland have been dominated the last few games but come away with the points.

At first i though it was the luck of the new manager but now i presume this will be the way forward for MON and as everything else it cant last.

Seesegnon is a must in Sunderlands side and if he gets an injury Sunderlands style of play will take a massive blow with the under achieving Bentdner, Wong and Whickham

Signings are a must in January, although Sunderland have gone back to a hard to beat team, progress will only be made with a stronger Attacking source

    I don't give 2 ****s if we're getting results.

    Simple.

And we are FAR from defensive, that's utter ****e.

Who is Wong? Who is Bentdner?

Do you mean Ji and Bendtner? If you must critique, please have the intelligence to do so.

Whilst we are on the subject of being happy with ****, what's it like to have the biggest ****ing crook in football as your manager? Are you happy with that?

Our football style suits me just fine thanks for asking. It's called a successful style last time I looked. 5 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats (we deserved points in both of those as well) in 8 games.

Ta very much Martin. More of the same for the rest of the campaign if you please.

i would like my team to use all options that are open to them a counter attack, slow build up, short passes, hard tackels, pressing , standing off, crosses, long balls, ect and not restrict themselves to only one option and also for them to adapt there play depending on who we are playing, I belive we will not play the same tactics against Norwich that we played against swansea for example but most of all i would like to win.

We'll always be happy as long as it works, but I would like to see an established striker brought in. Bendtner isn't actually our player, so he'll probably be off in May, but it's too early to say Ji and Wickham are underachieving. They are both young and have been chucked in the deep end, so I'm not holding my breath just yet, which is why I'd like another striker now. But we have goals coming from all over the park and it's wrong to say Sess is crucial to us. Yes, he is on fire at the moment and, yes, it would be a massive blow to lose him, but nothing like as bad as a few months ago under Bruce.

percentage wise yes our tactic's seem to be, let the oppositon have much of the ball then gradually break them down. I wouldn't call it defensive!

We seem to be winning more games this way, long may it continue.

Could be worse we could play hoof-ball like Stoke, not pretty.

Dont thi nk its the best to watch but right now MON has to the best he can with the players he has. We wont see the real MON Sunderland for some time, summer transfers then we will start.

Right now, more attack in bottom three v less attack and 10th, you work it out

I'm not fussed as long as we're winning. No matter how we play.

I think how we play depends on who we are playing...Swansea for example fell right into the trap of being allowed to pussy foot around keeping possession and getting nowhere, and then being caught by a couple of sucker punches..However, I'm quite sure we will play different tactics against Boro and Norwich simply because they play differently...

Who gives a to$$ how we play! We've moved up to 10th in the league and the futures looking rosey again for us, so lets not be critical!!

As for playing counter attacking football we've played Spurs and Chelsea away and City at home in our last 6 Premiership matches, so how else are we gona play against them!

Total bollocks, it seems you have been looking at fairly meaningless stats and have not seen the games.

Why is winning never enough for some people these days.....i just dont understand.
We all want to play amazing and win but im actually more than happy about how we play, to win playing poorly like against Swansea and never look like losing is something ive never seen with a Sunderland side.......feels strange.......am i awake?
