To be fair to Hoddle, it is not so much a warped brain but his belief system, which is based on the idea of karma. Indeed Christianity for example has a few ideas that some others might think strange, like Christ rising from the dead, after three days, and the symbolically eating of his body and drinking of his blood at mass.

What about Mormons who believe that the children of Isreal sailed across the sea, to settle in America? Or scientologists such as Tom Cruise and John Travolta, who believe that we are all descended from aliens?

All of those you mention are warped to me! But then I believe in science so I would say that. I find religion and belief systems such as karma etc hard to comprehend given what we know. I bet if another manager was a good christian thanking God all the time, they wouldn't be hounded out. Yet to a lot of people its just as insane to believe everything written in some allegedly 2000 year old book.
