It is the daily fail yes, but what do you reckon?

He's not as good as the two Demba's, but he could be a good part of the squad for the right price, and I'd rather have him sitting on the bench than Shola.

Apart from this season I think he was a 1 in 3 striker for Spurs, and used to score some beasty goals coming off the bench.

We need some quality for back up as well as first choice.

    What do you think?

It's time to say goodbye to Shola if we want to push on IMO.

Tash.........Shola is like the chewing gum on your shoe. It's there but you can't be arsed to do anything about it. He's seen about seven managers come and go and tbf I think Stoke once bid £1m for him.........

If Pavlyuchenko leaves Tottenham its because he's not in the first team, is he going to get in Newcastle's first team ahead of Cisse and Ba, the answer is no. At Sunderland he would be first choice striker, if you look at the distribution of Sunderland goals this year its clear to see they are getting a lot more goals from midfield, with players like Gardner, Larsson and Sessegnon chipping in a lot. So could actually see him going to Sunderland and think it would be a good signing to help them push up the table.

    No way, it won't happen.

He doesn't fit our transfer policy, let alone the fact he'll cost a few bob!

I fail to understand how Sunderland beat City with 19% possession, then again on Saturday beat Swansea with 30% possesion. Riding there luck big time if you ask me and everyone knows luck eventually runs out!!

Be quite happy if we signed him. Would have 3 good strikers. But, we aren't going to get him. He is too old, on to bigger wage (I think) would cost too much and we won't sign another striker this window :emoticon-0148-yes:
