<peacedove>I was thinking Roberto Mancini was going to bring out imaginary red card for Mario Balotteli
    violent conduct yesterday.
The referee also turned away pretending not to have seen it. Spurs were robbed because Balotteli was not supposed
    to be on the pitch.<ok>

    Likewise.

It was a cowardly, disgusting act of violence. No way on this earth was it an "accident"

Webb saw it and waived it off. I don't think they can ban him now.

guy guys guys... be fair for once. no way did he mean that, he's a moron and in capable of sneakiness unlike pepe who is a guy who did do similar.

Mario is just an idiot. Webb was right not to do anything cos it was not meant.

    he meant it

I just don't think the rules allow him to be retrospectively banned when the ref saw it clearly and waived it off.

Should b an 8 match ban.

TBH Scott Parker should fight this. It was assault. It wasn't like a miss timed tackled or getting a bit heated out of passion, it was unprovoked assault.

I'm not sure the ref did it. He is Howard Webb, he wouldn't be able to resist a chance to close the gap for United.

When you walk, you dont stamp your foot down like that, even if your off balance, no one walks like that.

It was a definate stamp, followed by a pathetic dive when he panics about what he has done.

Mario needs a ban, and a warning, and tbh Man City should punish him to.

He has repeatedly done really bad things like this, and if a Liverpool player was like this I'd want to see the club punish him. Mario will give City a bad reputation and is a liability to them. I'm not a City fan at all, but we dont want that in football.

He left Utd on a Bosman over a year ago. He used to border on open love for them but for the last year or so it looks like he's fallen out with them.

At first watching it in on TV and with the camera angle it looked like an accident. But watching the replays it looked like there was intent to stamp, Balotelli's leg goes in completely the wrong direction for someone falling. Webb had a good position to see it and was looking when it took place, cant understand how he missed it.

If the FA wants to show its unbiased and consistent then Balotelli should be getting a ban, 3 or 4 matches at least

course i saw it... you are giving the guy too much credit... you did also see adam wind him up v us didn't you? he's as subtle as a brick.

he's have kicked parker i nthe head full force not done something like what you say..

clumsy boy, can't even put a bid on right < laugh >

PLUS god... he's more of a liability on the pitch for city than he is off it so you guys ought to be demanding the fa force him to play 8 games in a row!

If there is anyone you ought to be on about its song who took rooney out (lovely one) I've done that one meself on the sunday league pitches and the ref there just booked him....

on one the guy stumbles and then trends on the guy and in the other the guy squares up to rooney and deliberately takes him out... totally different level of thuggery.

In fairness to Parker, he gets bashed about a lot and doesn't complain. When he went in on Richards and flipped him he apologised, helped him up and shook his hand. That's how footballers should be. Wish we bought him.

parker is a worker, he's also a square ball man which is why he flopped at chelsea... but hard workers prosper.... lazy bums like adam will end up back i nthe championship.

Shouldn't the real question be what's happened to howard Web, i mean a golden chance to ban a city striker and he lets it go!!!
My only thought is that maybe he, like most manure fans is a glory supporter and has now switched allegiance to the better manchester team!!!
