45 years. So what. Is that all? He probably wasn't even born when I started watching Wycombe. All we needed was a sound business case. But there wasn't one. The decision was a no brainer.
this is shocking....i cant believe it!!!!! everyones entitled to thier opinion etc but, despite all the arguements, the main one for me is putting a 4,000 crowd in a 25,000 staduim...what would be the point!
I think what's more shocking is yet again the Bucks 'nothing is' free Press disappearing up Hayes' backside. I bet there won't be a similar 'other view' at any point in the future. Like all newspapers, don't really give a toss about the community as long as there's loads of meaty stories. THe letter could have been written by anyone, including Hayes.
What is this guy on! I presume he hasn't read about what's happening with Darlington. He really needs to do more research before making such a public statement, there are so many holes in his argument I don't even know where to start. Maybe understanding Hayes hasn't pumped any money into the club and we currently owe him millions would be a good start for him.
I've just been reading through the comments at the bottom of the article. They all sum it up perfectly, how anyone can argue against those facts is beyond me. They should be following the premier league if its just immediate success on the pitch that matters to them. Supporting a club of our size is about much more than that.
Hi Guys, i have a simple solution to your problems, today i will buy an extra ticket in the Spanish lottery, and if i get a win, i will buy Wycombe Wanderers FC, and if i get 4 numbers i'll spend the rest on a couple of beers. Hows that sound?
sounds good mate, is it El Gordo? And while we're on the subject, if you're ever down Puerto de Mazzarron way and you happen to be on that beach at the east end of the town near the school with one beach bar there can you please tell the owners their paella is most definitely NOT the nicest I've tasted, my Spanish wasn't good enough when we were there lol. Nice market though.
Will do Jock, best Paella is at the beach bar down at Calnegre, or try the Caldero restaurant in the marina.
Paella yuk, its egg and chips every time for me . i think the Spanish for it is eggos and chipos garcon. IMO the Park has got to be made to work and we have to get back that same feeling around the club we had when we first gained league status ..
