I'll have you know I took the car you cheeky pup. Lol I like Richardson going forward in a midfield role but think he is a very poor defender imo. Mon hasn't suddenly made him better. LB is a desperate priority for us but to be fair, it has been for 2 or 3 years now.
Sorry but I thought Richardson did well yesterday too. He stuck to his task and Dyer only managed one decent cross the whole game. Swansea are a good side and we restricted them to very few chances, a lot of that was down to Richardson. I agree McLean had an average game but he was involved in the first goal and he didn't let his head go down. He will only learn if he gets game time so well done to MON for not hauling him off (like Bruce would have - if he had even been on the field in the first place!) just because he was not entirely on song today. Players will only play with confidence and freedom if they know that even if they make a mistake they won't get punished by the crowd and the manager.
I saw this yesterday on sky sports news and thought I was seeing and hearing things. This lad is fantastic and I thought destined for one of the top 4? Is it the same lad we were linked with a couple of years ago? Has something happened to him to make him ****e all of a sudden? If its the lad who was linked back then, then absolutely I'd be in for him.
I thought Richardson did very well against a tricky opponene. Anyway Gary Bennett said Ricco had a good game so he must have done.
Richardson and Bardsley both had very good games yesterday. The tippy tappy in our own half sheep shaggers, rely heavily on their wingers to create chances, our full backs were immense and they created very little. Also our CBs played well (although they had less to do), as increasing possession by passing the ball in their own half left Brown and O'Shea probably thinking about a nice hot cup of tea cos' it was freezing yesterday. In fact as the sheep shaggers were boring us to death by playing keep ball in their own half I'm sure the back four and the keeper kept nipping over to the side of the pitch for a cup of bovril. Facts mean opinions have to be amended Cest' and yesterday Rico and McBardo played well.
Thought Richardson did quite well yesterday. Only allowed one decent cross so could not have done a great deal more. I would still like us to sign a specialist full back but deffo want Richo to stay at the club.He has great versatility and don't think he deserves the stick he gets as he is after all being played out of position but just gets on with it...no moaning on twitter or any of that ****e, he has a very good attitude and can play a number of positions so should be retained.
Thought Richardson done well yesterday along with the rest of defence (clean sheet lads). Dyer only seemed to get one dangerous ball into the box (blazed over bar from Sinclair). McClean didn't have his best game but he did set up Sess for the first and almost set him up again in the second half, cracking cross for Sess's just wide header. It doesn't benefit anyone moaning and groaning at players, keep behind the lads and have faith in MON.
its the "cumulitative effect" i have watched Richardson play since he started with safc both home and away..........mostly home ....hes sort of an almost footballer, he does some spectacular stuff some ok stuff but like a dog with a history of biting you can never trust him for most of the time he watches the ball when he should be watching the man he is supposed to be marking... then relies on his pace to catch him up .....but he does do a lot of awfull stuff ....giving the ball away poor tackling and woeful shooting..and it is this drip drip effect of poor performances that the safc fans have become conditioned to and when we see the crap he so often produces we like one of pavlovs dogs respond accordingly(i watched the game yesterday and he was again ball watching and giving dyer far to much room to get the ball and run at him...it does prove he is not a left back...yet his passing..hes not a midfielder....striker anyone, well his compasure and shooting!..bench anyone..i doubt whether he will be here next august)the reason we did not boo mclean is because i like to feel that we safc fans give players a chance and allow for the od bad game nad we encourage new talent ,allowing them to develop.... we give our players enough rope to hang themselves with ...in the case of mclean the jury is out as we see a kid with some talent who is trying to make it and we empthasise with this and we will give him time as long as we see the effort!..Rchardson on the other hand..well he has enough rope for a assault on everest.
Who could it be Andy Johnson Zamora Agbonlahor Delfouneso Sturridge Welbeck Fletcher Doyle Bellamy Rhodes Maynard DJ Campbell Long Hopper cant think of anymore
Interestingly, stories emerging from the Salford area this week wetld suggest mr Welbeck and mr Ferguson are at loggerheads over the formers new wage demands? He seemingly wants £60k per week? Would we pay that for him? Canny player like but I certainly wouldn't pay him that amount.
