Yesterday was just a blip.... Everyone has one now and then.

    Arsenal got hammered 8-2
    Man Utd got hammered 6-1
    Man Utd got hammered 3-0
    Liverpool got hammered 3-1

Were in good nick, have quality players and are sixth in the prem.

I for one am very happy all round.

Looking forward to a dose of double dembas and a push for Europe in the run in.

Note.... Two short years ago I wouldn't have dreamed I would ever write the above.

    Keep the faith and HWTL.

Two short years ago it wouldn't have been likely we could push for europe. You know, being in the Championship and all...

You are right. We have to remember what mess we were in 2 years ago. I am over the defeat now although this was helped by the fact that Stoke, Chelsea and Liverpool all dropped points too. Top 7 is still the dream although if we slipped to 8th I would still be happy :)

Yep - could have been worse and hopefully some lessons learned.
Chelsea only got one point and the scousers didn't move with their defeat, if the Arse get beat by Manu then we've come out of it relatively unscathed.
We need to sign another player this week to get everyone's spirits up again...

Thank goodness for some common sense and positivity, we were lucky some of the teams around us dropped points yesterday, but we're still doing ok. :emoticon-0148-yes:
I sat with my ipod on yesterday watching, Alan Partridge, I laughed most of the way home. No doubt my fellow travelers would have mistaken it for hysteria, on the other hand perhaps it was. <wah>

This was our 4:4...1 very impressive half, one absolutely god awful one.

We're still in 6th and most people said they'd be happy with a draw - conceding 5 doesn't mean we lose points and our GD is still positive.

We scored 2 goals without our star striker and both of them were top finishes!

I agree, there was always going to be a game like this and we are lucky that it hasn't come before, we will bounce back
