On a (more) serious note, what are your 'super' Sunday predictions? I'll go: City 2 - 2 Spurs Arsenal 1 - 2 United. I think Spurs may get something, or City will give them it, so I'm going for a draw. You'll get the winner from a piece of lax Arsenal defending.
City 3-0 Spurs Arsenal 2-1 Utd Pessimistic for us I know, but I think Spurs are punching way above their weight and will get taken apart the same way they did against us and City at the start of the season. In fact I reckon this will be the start of a slide that sees Spurs finish in 4th, or maybe even 5th behind Arsenal. As for the Utd match, these matches always seem to go exactly the opposite way that form suggests. I reckon it'll be a scrappy game and Arsenal will probably nick it like they did at the Emirates last season.
Either you have come out of your deluded state, or you are getting your excuses in early, cause if you lose, you know I will own you for a week!
I'll lay my cards on the table right now, going for a 4-1 Liverpool win with a hat-trick for big Andy.
And in other news: Courtesy of goal: United could go into Sunday's game at the Emirates without defender Rio Ferdinand. The 33-year-old defender is a major doubt for the game after breaking down in training with a recurrence of an old back injury. "Yes injury prone and on the decline" Other news: Courtesy of the Daily Express: "Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has described team-mate Michael Carrick as the "Rolls-Royce" of the team." Finally talking sense, Overpriced and massively overated.
Well to his credit he was only one goal away from having the correct score. He just got it the wrong way round
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16669329.stm "The foundations the football club have always been built on is respect for other people," said the 60-year-old Scot. It is built on the philosophy that the next game is the most important one, not the one that is two or three down the line." Ah, so that's why Liverpool lost. They were busy preparing for their two cup finals. Next weekend and the 11th Feb...
Not going to try to make any excuses we where *hit yesterday. They have been warned, and hopefully we will see a response. Typical Liverpool of recent years, fail to beat the cra* teams when the teams around us drop points and not one of our supporters will be surprised if we beat City and United in the cup. Need to beat the bottom ten teams home and away, thats sixty points and then take what you can from the rest (which we are actually good at). To United's credit, that is what they are good at. <pukes>
What a strange set of results yesterday ChelseaDrawing,Pool losing,Stoke losing at home but saying that some fantastic goals were scored especially in the QPR-Wigan game
