This is the match day thread for Today's game, I always post this thread before each game so that you can express your views on the corresponding fixture and can talk between each other during the game,
Please post below comments during the game on how the game is going and the latest score and team news.
Have fun and enjoy the game.
I will update during the game on the latest news in the fixture.
This is open to both Gillingham fans and also the opposition
After the match I will allow you all to create a summary on this thread and I will also provide extra details on the game if they are required or if I want to point anything out. You can talk about what was good about the game and what could have been better. During the game I will update the score and the team sheets as soon as they are available, also at the end I will add the table to this thread as it stands.

I will be at the game so you can update others through the game and like normal once I am back I will be writing match reviews, enjoy the game.

Should be a good following for Wimbledon today, I read on Tuesday they had already sold more than 500 tickets. So if they have sold at least another 250, they will probably be bringing down as many as Stoke.

Your real bread and butter fans.

We need to push on. Both Oxford and Torquay are 1 up too.

BOOM! 2-0 Tomlin supplies for Kuffour.
Sounds like a great goal according to the commentary.

Same old defensive problems then. Has Hess made any progress? Doesn't look like it

Wow! What an entertaining game. I certainly didn't expect us to lose at 2-0 and 3-1 up, but full credit to AFC Wimbledon. That was some comeback!

WTF.............Another Lawrence penalty give away. Richards OG.......this team WANTS to stay in league 2. When Southend and Cheltenham throw us a helping hand..........

We cannot compete with the successful teams in this division when the likes of this result and the 2-1 away defeat at D&R are hurting so bad. Its just like the easy run in we had for the play offs last year when two home defeats ultimately cost us.

This is just not good enough.........and the players have to shoulder the blame, not the manager.

The squad isn't good enough for league one. But we won't be far from the play-offs. I think we'll just miss out and finish around tenth. Twelth at worse.

Ok, now I've probably got this all wrong so can someone please explain Hessy's tactical second half genius to me?

We are 3-1 up and Kuffour and Tomlin are running the show. The pacey players we have been talking about all week arrive.

Yes we are in fifth gear and cruising but hang on what is this I see...a substitution...Kuffour our tricky little striker coming off?

To be followed later by Tomlin and look to be replaced by none other than..OLI

ffs why did I not think of that, Hessy your genius, well done.

    GAME OVER 3-4 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

None of the subs were tactical. Kuffour and Tomlin were not match fit and Jackman was injured. Jackman's injury was the matchturning moment. The defence was rock solid for an hour and really looked up for it. Why a back four who were in total control should suddenly lose collective cocentration is anybody's guess but the finger has to be pointed at the players not Hessy.

I think people like Richards' may have played his last game for us if Hess' comments are to believed. The defence has been a problem for the last 2 seasons and will be the main reason why we haven't gone promoted or got into the playoffs. I think the likes of King, Essam and Davies may be given a run in the side but the midfield has to take some responsibility as well.
