Former westbrom and swansea striker poised for lions move , as hes a free agent ,arfter Mcquoid loan to Burnley.
swansea's record signing from west brom in 2009, he scored 7 goals in 45 championship matches for the swans, and arfter kenny missed out on Haynes it seems the signing is iminent.
Not the signing i was expecting as i thought the cash provided he might have bought a decent striker with a better scoring rate !!, 7 in 45 matches isnt exactly outstanding.

Bwtter strikers with better scoring rates cost more money which we dont have, and aren't keen to sign for a side that are likely to be in a relegation battle for the rest of the season.

To be fair to Beattie he has played a lot of his career at a higher level and getting him on a free isn't a bad deal. Prefer him to Haynes or Priskin.
