    Hello Geordies - am back on your board again in peace and all the rest.

    Reason is for a fact that I've just been told (and that you proabably all know about and discussed to death but I am too lazy to search your board) but Dimitar Berbatov is a Newcastle fan - is on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimitar_Berbatov and is backed up on http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article365647.ece

    He is a class player imho - what would you say if you went after him given that he is unsettled at Man Utd and you are his boyhood club?

    Anyways, he's getting on a bit, is on big wages and is the sort of player the club make a point of NOT signing.

    Known for years and its also not true, around the time of that photo Berbs said that it wasnt the team that he followed, it was only Alan Shearer. Said he has no connection with Newcastle what so ever

    Doesn't matter whether he is or not, we've bought Cisse won't being signing another striker, need to bring in defenders more than anything.
