what we need Joey is three points
what we need Joey is a club captain the team can respect
what we need Joey is every player standing up and being counted
what we need Joey is eleven men on the pitch
what we dont need Joey is your irritating "twittering", it's a needless distraction

If he had kept his mouth shut after the Norwich farce he may have got his ban rescinded...!

Grow up Joey, do what you are paid for and stop rocking the boat!

While I agree with Barton, theres no way he should be saying that and dragging the club through the mud.

He should have gone out and put a MOTM performance in against Wigan and proved how much better they can all play under Hughes.

    Totally agree Flyer.

Barton is quite frankly stupid to post this on the eve of a massive massive game in our season. Even if NW did 'start' it, he should be man enough, and also realise that the timing is awful. And also, as he is still employed by the club he should keep his trap firmly shut.

I am disgusted with him, and to think he is captain aswell is just disgraceful. However booing him will certainly not solve matters.

If Warnock doesn't talk, Barton doesn't tweet. Whats Warnock doing spouting all this rubbish about poison and talking to the chairman??? He should be gagged. Is he trying to say our s*** performances on the field had nothing to do with this sacking? The guy is provoking Barton knowing exactly how he would react and undermining our chances of survival yet again. Warnock is a relic. Barton is still our captain. I know who I'd back.

I see your point there. But Warnock hardly went into such a frenzy, just one comment about how he didnt want to talk about Barton.

I agree it wasnt needed, but Joey should be big enough not to respond in such a manner, and also to realise that he is our captain and should lead by example.

I just think people are still judging Barton on his past sins. What's actually happened here? Our ex manager (who had no right to talk or feel disgruntled) had a dig at our club and Barton. Barton then stands up for himself and the club. He also tells us how positive the camp is compared to the previous regime. Yet we crucify him and not the guy who lit the fire?! I would hardly consider us a laughing stock because of this little episode. Barton probably even had the blessing of TF and MH to return fire. NW is lashing out. He feels aggrieved and I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out why.

    Guys, guys, guys.

When we learned that the Rs were in talks to sign Barton there were loads on 'ere saying how great it would be, and some (myself included) hoping against hope that it didn't happen, but vowing to be supportive if he did come - provided he towed the line. The cynic inside us said that this was never going to happen and we're proven to be correct, sadly.

Mark my words, if you think Barton is being a **** now, it ain't nothing compared to what's coming from the man. Mark my words. It's gonna end ugly.

    Meh boring don't really care

Focus on Hughes and the future, we wouldn't be getting a world class left back if we still had Colin <whistle>

If MH is smart Barton won't play this afternoon, be seen on the bench, or put on our shirt ever again. Neil didn't comment the question on Barton. Seems apparent Barton knifed him. MH should get rid of him, before this little sh*t knifes him too, and totally f*cks what is left of our team spirit. Barton shouldn't be booed if he is at the ground, but MH shouldn't give anyone the opportunity.

I was also unsure about the stories of Barton being a cancer around the Club, and screwing up Adel's head. Having read his twitter comments yesterday I reckon Col and Dave were probably right.

One other point is if players were unhappy with Neil, why haven't there been transfer requests, why haven't their been rumours of players wanting out? Answer is its not true. All we have is one or two players who weren't quite good enough for the 25 being naturally p*sssed off. This is normal.

Barton is a thug and a twat. What else did you expect signing him? This leopard doesn't change his spots. I wish QPR well but Barton is just trouble.

I have to say LiterallyJamie's been superb over this.

(LiterallyJamie for non-Twitter users is a fake non-Jamie Redknapp account.)

@Joey7Barton Fair play Joe. I always suspected that it was Warnock's fault that you've been utterly diabolical at QPR.

@Joey7Barton Wotcha Joe. Does Neil Warnock cut your hair? I'm just compiling a #blamewarnock list and want to be thorough.

@Joey7Barton Sorry! Me again! Did he make you to grow that 5-a-side 'tache? #blamewarnock

@Joey7Barton Last #blamewarnock question Joe. The name 'Cassius' - bloody Warnock's idea, right?

i reckon a lot of you will eat your words

if Barton is motivated to play for the manager - which he will be with Hughes - he'll be back to his best for you. And when he's at his best, he's a very good footballer.

Outspoken and opinionated (and not always right), but a very good footballer.

Look at the 4-4 comeback against Arsenal for Newcastle. Most reports are that Barton was the one who took his team mates to task for that, and he got two of those goals and was the engine of the team.

Get him feeling like that for Hughes & QPR - and the fans (by cheering him on) and you'll have the captain you want.

To be quite honest, both JB and NW have done the club no good on the eve of one of the most important matches (so far) this year. They both could do with a slap, and 20 minutes on the naughty step outside Loftus Road for all to see!
I'm not happy with either of them. We need to be focused, as players and fans, on the game - and THE GAME ONLY!!!!!

While I agree with you, if all the players were having trouble with Warnock, is it not the captains job to address these concerns and try to get the situation sorted?
