Well it looks like a Ligier from 1987, the Lieger MEGATRON The track is potentially the old Austrian one?
I don't think the driver is Arnoux, so by default it must be Ghinzani?

I'm fairly sure 1987 was when Alfa was supposed to supply in F1 but then Arnoux was a meany. So its Alfa who pulled out to avoid upsetting Ferrari (being Fiat) / being called a naughty name by Arnoux.

Arnooux publicly criticised the Alfa V8 turbo in pre-season testing and as they were allegedly looking for a way out anyway, it was a convenient excuse for them.

They effectively did a Brawn in a lot less time (and not nearly as good!) and had to shoe-horn in a customer BMW unit in a matter of weeks, they missed the first race of the year.

Okay, analytical breakdown required :-

The track is Brands Hatch, so that should make it 1984 (thought about 85 but the rear winglets were banned)

I think the car is an Osella and I will guess it is Phillipe Alliot as I think he drove for them in 1985 so gonna take a guess he may also have been there in 84 as well. If not, then don't have a clue so will throw random names at you (then I'll mention some drivers afterwards

 

Everything but Osella, which going off your driver deduction was a mistype.

 

Can't think which team carried Skoal sponsorhip then. Had thought it was Osella.

The only other rubbish teams I can think of from around that time were Spirit & ATS (but they carried ATS sponsorship!). Minardi I don't think came about until 85.

If you've seen this before you'll know it, otheriwse you have no chance as it never raced, but what car is this and who is driving it!?

 

I'm guessing it's a ford by the logo behind the rollover loop, but is it an electric car or something like that?

 

It is ford powered, but it is definitely the V8 petrol variety

well its a ford something but what i have no idea but is the driver allan mcnish? he was looking for a drive in f1 a while back.
