Just passing the time before half five, I have figured out how many points we got last season from the fixtures remaining this season. I have replaced Norwich at home with Blackpool at home and Swansea away with West Ham away.

If we were to equal last seasons points tally from these fixtures we would receive another 27 points. That would leave us on 63 points which would have got us 5th last season. Now there is no guarantee's that we would do that well in these same fixtures this year but this shows just how well we have done compared to last season in the games so far.

This does include games like Arsenal and Chelsea away and Liverpool at home in which we got 7 points last season, but it also includes Stoke at home which we lost last season. So is this points tally a realistic amount. We have improved a lot since last season so I don't see why not if we hit the heights that we hit at the start of the season!

If we manage to beat Blackburn and Aston Villa without Ba, I fully believe we'll gain momentum and challenge for 6th.

I'd be happy with 7th. I can't see us losing a home game with out full strength team apart from City on the 2nd last week because they'll be hunting the title.

Two of those were City and Liverpool away as well. And I think if we had Williamson, we'd only have lost twice because Norwich only beat us because we had no CB's, and we were forced to play a high line vs WBA because of only 1 available CB.

    Great season.

Yo - lets think up up up !
I think we all need to close our eyes and huddle, have a big internet hug and share positive vibes - we have the capability, the skill, the talent, the spirit, the positiveness and the determination to really give 4th place a ****in serious kick in the balls. If we can get 2 wins before the Dembas return then we could really set the final part of the season alight !
    I have a dream......!

Hoping for 4th place is just setting ourselves up for disappointment, at this stage it is completely unrealistic! <laugh>

All I mean is lets aim high. Most would think where we are now was unrealistic at the start of the season. Who would have thought we could have stuffed Manu 3-0.
There's enough times where we are all on a downer with the team - right now we and Im sure the players must be on a high and that is a very powerful force - better than being low on confidence...

I think teams won't want to play us as we are dangerous and fearless. As the commentators always say 'we don't know when we are beat'

Absolutely right - there's been too many years when they have said we could snatch defeat from the jaws of victory !
Im just feeling positive that all - its Friday and Ive just got paid after a long time off - we are going to win, Arsenal are going to lose and we are going into 5th...
