To be honest, they're probably good enough to be squad players for someone like Hartlepool or Carlisle, I think that WOULD upset other clubs if they got players of that quality. All they need are bodies to get them through, surprised they're not getting volunteers from other local non-league clubs.

Whilst they need players, they must respect the transfer embargo. They're needing emergency loans, they can't use it as an excuse to improve their squad compared beyond what it was pre-crisis out of sportsmanship.

Darlo are playing fleetwood next right? That's why they blocked it, so they have an easy game and win against a weakened side. It's disgraceful.

Saw them at Gateshead and what a bunch of dirty bastards they were, then after the game the Fleetwood fans were going around calling Gateshead cheats and saying they paid the referee, and look at their attitude for Saturday, disgraceful.

Is this even true by the way? I saw Aaron Brown is sticking around so I think they were only missing a keeper, and ssn are reporting they've loaned one from the mackems.

I still see no issue with Fleetwood saying no though, Darlo aren't a charity and Fleetwood want to win the league. Why should they have to play against Premiership prospects?

Hopefully Fleetwood will go out of existence soon, wonder how they will feel about it then...

Because its the whole future of Darlo. If Darlo dont have enought players for the game, then it wont get played = no ticket sales = no money = no Darlo. If it was Newcastle and Fulham blocked players comming in, would you be fine with that?

Darlington put themselves in this situation. Fleetwood are doing nothing wrong.

    Correct
Just like if a player went down to a broken leg, it wouldn't be wrong to play on but out of respect and sportsmanship you play the ball out because if the same happened to you, you'd expect it. This case is exactly the same whilst theres nothing wrong with what fleetwood are doing on a football level, on a moral level they are incredibly wrong!

That situation only applies if the player had been repeatedly doing things that would make his leg likely to break.

Would say Perchinho, but I don't mind him so much tbh. Does a decent job coming on to protect our lead.

The reason Darlington are in this position is because of the ego of George Reynolds, the fans, the staff and the people currently at Darlington Football Club have done nothing wrong, also do we really want to see club go out of business, too many teams are going bust after going out the league which says there is something fundamentally wrong with the drop down.
