Where we all planning to meet? The 8 bells has been mentioned but it does get busy early on as it is small, anyone any other suggestions?

The 8 bells is right outside Putney Bridge station, so please give directions to the other bars if you have any.

For those travelling back to the North East on Saturday night via train, don't buy any alcohol. It's a dry train, thanks to the mackems a few years back. You can try sneak it on but it'll just get taken off you when on the train if you don't hide it.

i reckon it'd be good to meet south of the bridge, earlier on (like 12:30 ish) somewhere with a big screen to catch the early games

it'll be a tad quieter that side of the river leading up to the game, meaning = able to see screen & purchase beer.

then head up to the 8 bells before the match for a quick pint and down to the ground with all the away fans - the neutral (lulz) end is the same side as the 8 bells (basically straight through the park) and we're in the closest corner to the entrance.

The Fox & Hounds are showing the football, they're just near Putney Railway Station. still walking distance from the bridge / 8 bells / craven cottage, but just far enough away to be out of the main drag for home fans.

Wahoo - a comedy club closer to the bridge - also apparently are good for watching football in, though they might be a bit busier as they're much closer to the ground

well i'm not sure if training in tomorrow morning or staying in london tonight now as the missus is out until late (incosiderate i know!). But its only about 25 mins for me to get into tott hale so 12.30 ish still suits me. Ill drop my south of the river friends a line and see how well they know the area.

Wheres north of the river for you AZ?

The Putney bridge is literally right next to the tube station more or less isn't it?

    East London since '99

currently Limehouse, which is decent. Lived in Dalston before the trendy kids moved in, Hackney after that, then Tottenham, Whitechapel, and Wapping.

Coat & Badge looks good - but have you checked they have Sky and are showing the early games?

I cried when we had to leave. She was dancing with this absolute dingbat. She was sensational, and she knew it as she knew our group of lads just couldn't take our eyes off her.

It has sky, albeit apparently not massive tv. So depends if we want a more relaxed or busy pub (problem is its chelsea isnt it? so local team). I really dont mind
