I had a dream Wednesday night that we got a thorough thrashing on Saturday. I woke in a cold sweat. Perhaps it was a nightmare!
However, underestimate Newcastle at our peril. We need a win to sooth the wounds inflicted by Blackburn. I predict a draw! Dembele to score for us, at last.

I wouldn't complain if your 'dream' came true!

As a NUFC fan though, I'd be happy with a draw from this. Away at craven cottage is never an easy game and there'll probably be a backlash from the Blackburn game I'd expect. Add that to the fact that our front two are away in Africa as well and our first choice central midfield pairing are out too... I'll take 1-1 I can see Pardew setting out defensively again :(

A draw sounds the most realistic expectation but I think we can win it. Thus is as far as I will go. We have the ability to get the 3 points.

Like many games, if we play as well as we have done at times this season, we can definitely win. I'm not 100% confident at all though.

I'm not confident about this game at all and was far more optimistic of a result last week and we all know what happened there. I'll also go for a 1-1 draw which won't help us all that much and is unlikely to satisfy FFC fans despite your lofty position in the league.

I'm not complacent - I've supported Fulham too long to ever take anything for granted - but I'm quite confident about this one, in spite of Newcastle being a good side with or without the missing players. I think Saturday is going to be one of our good days at the office.

Well boys as a Newcastle fan I can tell you I would be very happy with a draw this weekend. The Cottage is never an easy place to go and get a result, and the fact that Cabaye is now doubtful for the game it makes it even tougher. Alot will depend on how we go about things.

Most of us reckon Pards will go 2 up top with Shola and Best, that would probabaly mean no Ben Arfa, which would be a pain really because he is our most talented player, but Pardew doesn't rate his work ethic.

Anyways I'll happily take a 1-1. Just pray its a better game than last year's, (and hope that t*at Duff doesn't score again :) also big fan of Dembele. quality player

Oh how I'd love a repeat of last years 1-0 win with Duff scoring. Cautiously optimistic for this one with Newcastle missing some key players I'll go for a 2-1 win.

Got a bit of good news for you 1991, Dembele is out tomorrow with a hip injury. I sincerely hope Sidwell and not Frei replaces him.

Really? Now that is good news for us. He's so gifted technically. He tore us apart years ago when he played for AZ in the Uefa Cup(Europa League as it is now) Think he was only 18 then aswell. Always liked him since.

What's the situation regarding Zamora, or are you guys in the dark aswell? You get the feeling there is a problem between him and Jol, no matter how much they deny it. you reckon if a QPR, or a Sunderland offered 8 mill he would be off?

Seems to be something between Jol and Zamora. Al Fayed would never sell to QPR and Hughes, Jol wants to keep him and so do we if he plays with the passion we're used to.

Sunderland have apparently offered us 5.5 million which won't be enough to tempt us, I think there was a problem between Jol and Zamora but the press blew it out of proportion. As AJ is also being mooted to leave, I really couldn't see Jol selling our two best striker mid way through the season especially when our Premier League status is by no means confirmed for next season.

I'm thinking we'll get a draw or a narrow win over Newcastle, a team I like watching. I don't think they're the same team they were earlier in the season, when they were beating everyone, but they're still good enough.

Newcastle fans - I think you're going to love Papa Cisse, a player we were linked with last summer before taking Bryan Ruiz for about the same price.

Me too, 1991. Not everyone here agrees, but some of the doubters have been coming round in the last couple of months.

Even though you usually beat us, I have a lot of time for Fulham. A very good side with a good manager. I would be incredibly happy with a point. We are missing our 5 best players and we won't pick our best one so I expect a beat down.

Have you told Mrs Captain of this fact? If you have, take it back immediately.

I think 1-1, but would hope for a win, maybe with a Damian Duff goal (sorry Geordie fans).

We will need everything going for us (so please tell Mrs Captain to hide the goodies if we take the lead).
