Yes read the article Scott, and it makes for good reading indeed, there's no doubt in my mind that Buck loves it here in Swansea, and long may that continue!.............

Agree, 3 years minimum. We want someone here to build for the future, a lasting legacy, and hopefully Brendan is the man.

Sounds a little like Rodgers is making it clear to Huw and the board that before he signs he wants guarantees that the academy and structure of the club matches his ambitions. Good on ya Brendan! Putting the pressure on to ensure the Academy is put in place is exactly right.

Great news that something is happening as I was getting a little nervous about it. I think Brendan is a reasonable man so I doubt his demands will be absurd! Hopefuly as someone mentioned above he gets a guarantee regarding the Academy and that funds will be available to keep on developing the squad and constantly strengthening it!

you can bet your bottom dollar that he will have a get out clause in case he is approached by a big club......you cant blame him i suppose i would.....

Why not , Martinez had a " Get out " clause with Huw if a premier club came for him .

yes i know but to me a contract is just that, your are offered a deal and if you accept the deal then you belong to the club for that term of contract, there should be no get out clause or it makes the contract worthless. the same should apply to players, Why should any club spend millions on their players for a bigger club to come along and reap the benefit......No to me a manager or players if they sign a contract then they must honour the term of it, unless during the transfer window where a club wants our manager of any of our players then the club will decide and if its no then no it is........special additions to contracts should not be allowed......thats my view anyway....
