Now then, back down to earth, we have another game on Saturday away at Fulham, and whilst we have all been predicting teams in the future with Cisse, and Ba, we now have to focus on a strike force of Best and Ameobi.

This will be a tough game, we never do well down there and I will Pardew will take a cautious approach. Best or Shola really need to put themselves about a lot more than last week, and take any chance that comes there way.

    Line up in my opinion:

    Krul

    Simpson Williamson Coloccini Santon

    Raylor Vuckic Guthrie Jonas

    Best Shola

I don't think Ben Arfa will play, I think Pardew will go slightly more defensive in this one but I can see Vuckic starting ahead of Gosling or Abeid, as Cabaye is a doubt. I'd love to see HBA get a start but I can't see it.

Thoughts? An optimistic 1-1 from me.

I've got a feeling we'll lose this one.

Need to start Ben Arfa and get in their faces from the start if we want to win.

I'd have the same, but hopefully Benni will play off Best up front instead of Shola. Gonna be really optimistic and go for a 2-1 win, Fulham have been remarkably inconsistent at home this season and it could go either way tbh.

Maybe Pardew will go the same way as he did against QPR when Cabaye went off, sort of 4-3-3, I think we need to be more attacking and make chances as Best/Shola aren't as prolific as Ba.

    ----------------Krul
    Simpson---Willo---Col----Santon
    Raylor--------Guthrie-----Jonas
    HBA------------Shola------Best

I'd hope for something like that but doubt Pardew will change from his usual 4-4-2

Think it will be 0-0 because of the cautious approach we will play. But if we play:

    Krul

    Simmo - Willo - Colo - Santon

    Benny - Raylor - Guthrie - Obertan

    Jonas

    Best

we should spank them. They won't expect this and with the pace and movement of Jonas and Benny and possible Obertan we will win ;)

Would expect to see the following, assuming Cabay's still injured:

    ..........................................Krul........................................

    Simpson..................Williamson..............Coloccini..........Santon

    Raylor.........Ben Arfa...........Guthrie...........Gosling..........Gutierrez

    ........................................Best..........................................

Subs: Harper, Shola, Perch, Abeid, Vuckic, Obertan, Tavernier.

If Cabaye's ok, then replace Gosling.

    1-1.

I can see Duff scoring. Would love for Best to get another goal, it would do his confidence wonders.

It's one of those "he's bound to score, the little toe-rag" situations, a bit like if Barton had played against us.

I find it strange that even though Fulham are my 2nd English club, everyone on here gives them so much more respect in our matches against them than I do? Fulham are good at home, and have put in some good performances this year, but they've also put in some AWFUL ones - against Man U and Everton immediately come to mind. And the whole "we never play well against them" really means nothing to me, another squad, another year. We MAY not get points against them this weekend, but there's absolutely no reason why we shouldn't - they're a squad in transition and I don't think Jol's yet found his best XI.

All that said, I want at least a draw. They're shook up after a bad loss to Blackburn, and half their strikers are being talked about in the shop window, let's go after them!

No Obertan please. He'll spoil our forward movement...

    3-2 to Fulham...
It's a very tricky fixture, not forgetting Fulham are a good team and we're missing Tiote in the middle..

Given that Ba, Tiote, Cisse, S Taylor, and possibly Cabaye, are all unavailable (probably in the case of Cabaye) I'd happily take a point.
