The biggest fight the world has ever seen (well in terms of the money generated) might be a step closer of happening. Pacquiao and Mayweather are talking directly to each other about a potential fight. http://www.boxingscene.com/pacquiao-says-he-spoke-mayweather-on-phone--48711 They were both meant to have fights signed up by last weekend but this could be the reason why those fights never materialised. So if this fight does finally happen, how do you see it going?

I think Mayweather will be too fast for Manny. Beats me why it hasn't taken place before this. I suppose the $100,000,000 per fighter should be enough to get it done.
what the **** are you smokin? it's pacquiao who is dodging it. Mayweather has called him out in public more than once. Pacquiao refuses blood tests before the fight. Why? what's he hiding? Mayweather will outclass him and beat him on points if not a late stoppage
cagey in the beginning but Mayweather gradually takes over and goes on to win either by unanimous decision or by Knockout, he hits far harder than people give him credit for and although Pacquaio if faster, Mayweather has superior timing. And I agree with Trevor its Pacquaio who seems to be making all the excuses
Also look at the amount of times Pacquiao was caught in the margarito fight. If he gives mayweather the same chances it's goodnight. Mayweather on the other hand rarely gets caught at all in a fight. He might be boring but he's an excellent boxer
yes. far too much money to made for it not to, and even more to be made if it happens in the new 45,000 seater place in vegas instead of the traditional mgm grand.
http://www.boxingscene.com/mayweather-rejects-pacquiaos-50-50-proposal-5--48745 Seems Mayweather has ducked again. Pacquiao asked for 50/50, Floyd said no. Mayweather has never wanted this fight, and it seems like his calling out Pacquiao in the last couple of weeks was just talk.
If it's not arranged for around the 5th May timeframe then it isn't going to happen. I love watching both in the ring and would be really excited for the bout to finally settle everyone's arguments if it's agreed in the next week or two but like the Hatem Bomb says I'm also bored of the fight before it's happened if it's put off yet again.
