    you nob head tash, every company does UP TO, no company can garantee, but virgin are known top give the closest to what you pay for than any other, ask ofcom. the rest are totaly **** as they use telephone exchange. virgin use cable for most people.

    Its better than skys pishy effort. You need to search for a netwrok everytime you swith on your computer. I find Virgin really good,must vary area to area!!

    My Sky broadband is class, steady 10mbps. It all depends where you live and what kind of system you have.

    True, Skys bad in my area, even the TV picture and signal is a lot worse than Virgins. I know loads of people who have the same problem!!

    Virgin media only use (various types of) cable for their internet. Perhaps you mean fibre optic cable? That's what's used for the high speed (50Mb+) stuff.
