He's a signing i wouldnt mind as back up(since Santon, Raylor and Simpson have done nothing bad to be replaced), but his career has gone so far downhill since Marseille.

Big signing for them i guess, on the same day as Onouha. I think theyve been given permission to talk to Alex as well, so id rule Samba out.

They HAVE to stay up now or they'll be in major **** if they get relegated...

AC Milan, always thought he was a quality but obviously something has gone wrong with him for whatever reason.

Always thought he was good. Obviously can't be that good if he has signed for QPR...

Also, Onuoha has apparently been offered £80,000 per week to sign for them <yikes>

Might take them a while to gel, but after that is definitely good enough defence for mid table.

Thing is, aren't Alex and Samba both right sided centre backs? It's just sometimes they are uncomfortable playing on the wrong side lol.

Like we did with Ba? Apart from Onuoha I wouldn't have any of their signings, and if we were interested we'd have just gone for him this window. Their players are mostly ****, I wouldn't have any of them (apart from Onuoha). Impressive day for them though, Onuoha and Taiwo.

As a big Marseille fan I've always liked Taiwo; that man could blast a free kick like few defenders I've ever seen, and really thought he'd be able to cut it with Milan (after all, Marseille's been in the CL pretty consistently). I don't watch much Serie A anymore, so I haven't seen many of his appearances this season, so I don't know if its because he didn't return well from his pre-season injury or what? But it's a coup regardless for QPR - and a bit younger than the other 'big names' they've been bringing in since Fernandez took over.

Isn't Alex like 33 though? Hasn't got long left at all in the top flight!

Alex and Samba are good individually, not sure they'll work together very well.

They might have a good defence on paper if the signings come off but the players are only after the money and couldn't really give a damn about the club/fans and they'll probably have a relegation clause in their contracts and move as soon as a club (who are also loaded and willing to splash the cash) wants to sign them.

This. I think they might well have signed Onuoha as a centre back anyway. Can see Young staying at right back.
