It's because it is freely edited, Sammy Ameobi's wiki had his position listed as 'Missionary' for about a week before people noticed!
Cheers for the response lads... I thought I missed the appointment being announced... And I don't think anyone would miss something like that being announced. Also... I was reading about Kia Joorabchian... Who apparently has **** all to do with Newcastle according to all the other mag fans... I didn't search Newcastle, I searched Kia Joorabchian. Are you really that stupid and dull witted you need to try to make snide comments like that to try and prove you're not stupid and dull witted. Newsflash... You're worse than Tash you ****ing mong. If you were reading about William Shakespeare and it said he was the new Sunderland manager on his page, it would hardly be you being obsessed with Sunderland now would it. You ****ing idiot.
Shakespeare's moved into management? I remember his hat-trick against "Ye olde poxed eleven", cracking game
Wikipedia is not a source. I've still got my joke information on Jean Claude Van Damme personal life on there................
I'm pretty sure he IS at Newcastle. I remember about a year ago it being announced that he had been appointed.
Hope noy and if he is he wants to ge this finger out! Carr is responsible for the good work we've done so what the **** has he been doing. Maybe he assisted with some of the departures? Who knows but in all seriousness I'm pretty sure he's not current staff or we'd have heard a lot more.
Yeah, he'd be mentioned at least on some official reports if he actually was. Everyone else at the club is mentioned.
I used to have a lecturer that would purposefully post fairly questionable articles to see which students used Wikipedia for their work .
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...orabchian-to-lead-newcastle-clear-out?cc=5739 Don't know how reliable it is, it says you're reported to have appointed him in some capacity. Wouldn't be surprised if you were keeping quiet about it... He's not popular is he... Having said that, if he is indeed working in some capacity for the club. Fair play to Ashley... It's ****ing working.
Ashley is by no means a mug, he does things that piss fans off but he's a very astute businessman. The reason Joobrachian is hated so much is because of the third party ownership of players that his company are involved quite heavily in. It's completely wrong, and a lot of people dislike him over the Tevez/Mascherano West Ham saga. All that third party stuff is obviously not allowed over here, but if Ashley is using him for his worldwide footballing contacts to get rid of the dead wood in our squad, whilst bringing cut price, talented young players in at the same time, then why not? There are far more greasy characters in world football, McKay for instance who has been tasked with bringing mercenary footballers to Doncaster.
Used as a direct source, it can be quite risky. But it does generally provide a good starting point, something which shouldn't be underestimated.
The third party thing while despicable is very good business. Ashley appreciates that over anything else from what I've heard. If he's using the lad in some role then respect to him for tapping into a resource no on has yet tapped into on a club side of things.
In fairness to whoever's sorting your transfers... Even the pied piper couldn't get rid of Smith with the contract you supposedly gave him.
Its weird this should come up because when i first started playing FM12 im sure i seen him listed as some sort of background role on the club info page .. Now i cant find it anywhere :S
