Just under a year ago Leon Britton was a stranger amongst a Blade team with both him & the Blades going nowhere fast . Fast forward to almost a year later . Leon Britton is the most accurate passer in Europe , while playing in the Premier League with the team he's played all four divisions with , while the English manager ponders a spot for him on the national team . Keep smiling Leon , a lot of us are too !!

I'm not convinced Leon will ever get picked for England. He can do his stuff with the system Swansea have and the players around him that also play the system but pluck him away and drop him in a different set-up, he might struggle. England would suit him better than Sheffield United, for example, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I think as long as he was surrounded by quality players, he could do a job in any team! As long as he had a few games to bed in I'm sure he'd be fine.

leon would be good for england if they played 4-5-1, does a lot of good for the us without really getting noticed a great deal.

Breezy well said mate, could not agree more, I would love to see Leon play for England, and I think he could do a good job, if as has already been mentioned, he had the right players around him, good shout there, fair play, we where talking about this very subject down the pub last night!....................

Here's one for men with better access to stats than me: Has any player since the formation of the PL, played in all four divisions and for England?
