Even worse is how they post the betting odds as if buying suggests there's a lot of people in the know... I get that they're just encouraging skybet sales, but it's hilarious the **** they try to suggest using their odds

I liked how the so called expert journalists that are paid for their Opinion Pieces where jumping over themselves to point out we'd not paid for a striker and that they all saw us struggling to stay up, now in January we've got one of the most prolific strikers in europe for £10m, sitting 6th in the league and not a peep has come from their direction!

The most annoying thing is when the media continue a rumour, even thought the player in question has said "Look mate, i'm not going anywhere." If you believed the media, Demba Ba is still going to spurs, despite numerous comments from him saying he's happy with you. Same with us and Podolski. he said he's not moving, because he doesn't want to be a benchwarmer. Yet this morning, i open the paper to see another Podolski rumour. Why don't they give it a rest?

Think you will get lucky if you don't sign Podolski. I think he is well overhyped.

I wouldn't mind signing him, can't be worse than Chamakh. However, i don't want to pay 10 million for him. if you can get Cisse for 10 million, we should be able to get podolski for 7.5 million.

I feel sorry for Bryan Swanson on his transfer window watch. He's been waiting and waiting for a big deal to come along, and then we make a move for Cisse and its all done and dusted without him even having a couple of opportunites to mention it haha. Instead he's got to open with the 'QPR are expected to be busy in this transfer window...still waiting to hear about Alex blah blah blah. Bless him

Does Ashley own an invisible chopper? Sneaks Cisse into SJP, completes the deal, and flies him out again before anyone knows.

Yeah, I suppose he is better than what you have got apart from Van the man. But, you are Arsenal and you should be able to get a class player easily. One of the biggest clubs around. Go for someone like Edison Cavani who should jump at the chance.

Why would he leave Napoli, who are basically guaranteed CL footie next season, for Arsenal, who in all likelihood will be in the Europa league? Bad career move.

haha the infamous Ashley chopper. The only good thing about the lack of communication from the board is this ability to keep transfers really hush hush, and get them done before anyone else has the chance to come in on the deal.

In regards to your club, really feel for you guys atm. Im one of the people who think Wenger is almost unsackable, just because it's Wenger. Arsenal without Wenger would be like Man Utd without Fergie. But over the last few years in particular his stubborness has just blinded him to what you guys need. Why won't he just go out and spend big money on a quality cb, and striker? Do you think something's going on at board level which means he doesn't actually have the money to spend? Or does he just refuse to admit you have problems?

Premier League. At the end of the day, Cabaye, Tiote, Ben Arfa all could have played Champions League football for their teams but decided to sign for Newcastle. Arsenal should easily get him. They are one of the top 7 or 8 teams in the world.

It's a bit of both. We have the most useless chairman in the league (Baldy Bastard Ivan Gazidis), but problems stem from Wenger being too stubborn, and unable to admit that this current crop of players don't cut the top4 mustard.

I love the way our board now largely seem to have the ability to sign players "under the radar" and suddenly just announce that the deal is done. Hope for more surprises to come but not of the nasty outgoing type.
As for the rumour pages they missed it completely which is great for keeping prices down for us and yes they do spout a load of rubbish most of the time. Problem is that sometimes they get it right so we cant help ourselves from reading it even though experience tells us most of it is rubbish and to believe it when you see the player holding the shirt.

Think the transfer rumours used to be a bit more accurate and were better research. The research these days is just by looking on twitter. Hesakmi managed to get on a few ppls radar!!

BBC Ceefax still had Cisse to Sunderland this morning. I think the person who wrote it got fired, or they're on the sick due to the trauma of being constantly laughed at.

It's almost as if when Pardew said "we'll be playing our cards close to our chest this transfer window" he mean't we weren't going to announce who we were after etc until the deal was done. Most of the gossip come from agents trying to put their client's names in the papers so people know they're available.
Personally I'm happy with this because it means there's no chance of a bidding war, do you not think if it was public knowledge that we were getting Cisse for £7.5M-£9M a whole bunch of other clubs wouldn't have stuck bids in or contacted his agent?
