  5. If true I cannot think of any gooner who won't be pleased.

If true it does prove one other thing though. That the asses in suits at The Emirates have no idea about money since they could have had Demba Ba for nowt not that long ago. Instead they paid £5m for Park. Ahh but Park sells T shirts, doesn't he? These days, the likes of Kroenke and Gazidis think as much or more about selling trinkets than they do about football.

Have Arsenal EVER spent 18m on 1 player? Not really their style tbh

Ah yes, caughtoffside and ladbrokes, two of the more reliable transfer generators. I dont know why they'd start the bidding so highly if it is true, not to mention they would have to either change their formation or bench him if he moved there. He's very happy and the release clause is inactive, so I'm not worried.

    But I thought Ba's release clause was £2.80 and a bag of Nice'n'Spicy Nick-Nacks?

Eitherway £18mill's a big gamble on him and you don't even get him for another month so if he's bought to save your season it could be pointless by the time he actually plays for you.

He always stated that the only figures he'd heard about were in the press. If you saw the interviews you'd see that the quotes were taken totally out of context.

Funny when the shoe was on the other foot Chelsea were trying to unsettle Modric but he's quite to speculate about other team's players. Double standards from a saggy faced horrible crooked little man.

He never complained about the Modric approach, all he did was scoff at the bids <doh>

Apologies, Modric "confused". That's a million miles from unsettled. <ok>

What has Modric got to do with it? You're accusing 'Arry of being a hypocrite but you're wrong.

To be fair Ba can play as a left winger, so they could probably keep their 4-2-1-3.
