As i am due to go home next month for a visit to my family in Swansea,i contacted my brother who also lives in Thailand, could he pick me up a few swansea shirts from his local market,He lives in Pattaya and i live 500miles away north in the jungle.
My brother contacted me and said all the swans shirts sold out quickly, the owner a thai man spoke English and said he didnt realize that Swansea City were so popular.he has ordered alot more, hopefully soon b4 i go back.

Swansea are becoming a famous team quickly

About 300 Baht, right? Been a while so I'm out of date a bit.

Probably decent quality I'll give you that and I wouldn't hesitate if I was out there now, but if they're genuine then I'm a ladyboy. <laugh>

Ha ha! You'd be amazed, mate. I've heard some even have their adam's apples removed. <yikes>

Bloody hell, the Pound is crap against all-comers. When I last went it was 60-something to the Pound. Great place, though. Loved it and been a few times since. Always with the wife though, before you lot start. ;)

Aber=Try telling your lot that, they all thought for some bizzare reason that Cardiff were gonna out sell Man utd tops in Malasia and it was going to be a major revenue stream for the club!<laugh>

Anyway Aber how is life up in the valleys? hope you keeping well fella :)

Just shows how we are winning over the neutrals, with our Barcelona style of football, long may it continue, but remember, this is only the start of the journey, there is much yet to do, and a lot of hard work to be done, for our club to progress at this level, and the academy, and increase capacity at the Liberty must be given priority if we are to, successfully bed ourselves in to the Premiership...........

Gary Glitter was arrested in Cambodia I believe, not Thailand. I think Malaysia has an entirely different image because it's largely Muslim, not Buddhist. The more extreme elements tend not to tolerate kissing on a beach let alone people who have sex changes, whereas 'Thai' is the Thai word for 'Free' so tends to me more liberal - for good and bad.

    Just a thought.

And plastics....well I'm sure most would Chairmen would privately agree but those big wages have to paid for somehow.

Gary had him come-uppence in Vietnam tho' was said to prey in Cambodia as well. there's knock off shirts beginning to appear in HK which is a sign of our growing reputation, but i'll not be buying any. i'd rather support the club and i'll only buy official products, not fake. Actually i'll be visiting Swansea next week, Chinese New Year means everything closes down for a week so time for my annual return. this time there's no games on at the liberty which usually would be reason to arrange my hols at another time, however as tickets are impossible to come by then maybe not such a bad time to visit. i'm bringing one of my kids, anyone know if the club do tours or anything around the stadium, would be nice for the youngster not to mention the dad.

Well I noticed Tesco's were selling Swansea shirts over Christmas, and I'm pretty sure the club would get some of the revenue due to rights on merchandising, so it's all positive income for the club! Doubt any return on the shirts in Thai though....................<laugh>

Tesco's is huge in Thailand, the Tesco Megastores on the touristy expat islands of Samui and Phuket have just about any home comfort a Brit or European for that matter should ever need, hopefully they'll be stocking official Swansea shirts as well. Aber glad you enjoyed HK and Lantau. Without doubt, these series of islands have some of the most beautiful natural landscape i've seen by this old gower boy. seems like a home from home, tho sadly the air quality and visibility now pretty shocking. probably a result of the heavy industry a few miles north in southern china, where no doubt both our clubs have their shirts manufactured by underage kids in sweatshop factories.
