Sorry I got over excited as the info was coming through to me second hand!!! its not Chukwuma Obi Joel from Inter Milan, its.. AC Milan left back Taye Taiwo on a proposed loan deal and it sounds like Nedum Onuoha from Man City will be signed tomorrow http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11863/7440833/Taiwo-wanted-in-England This info is good and a one off
isn't wiki on strike today? Something about proposed US legislation which they think couuld threaten them.
If it comes off then I cant see how anyone will doubt you, thats a name that has not been mentioned anywhere. I mean I could say Alex will sign this week and we will get at least one other by the end of next week and its very likely to come true but Im just making it up.
It would threaten everyone, there wouldnt be any sites left. They want to give the RIAA and MPAA power to take any site off the internet if it links to copyrighted material, so post a youtube link here that has some music on it and this site will be gone, as will any search engine.
yeah sorry flyer messed up with original info, what i've posted now is as correct as i've heard, credibility gone immediately
Blimey! Don't know the acronyms you mention but assume they're American regulatory bodies. I didn't realise they could censor the internet, but I suppose if China can then so can the US. Seems wrong that they can do this to us, but then again saw a news story last week about a British bloke who was extradited for infringing US copyright on his website so its clearly already happening
Both signings sound good and would improve our defence. Havent heard too much in terms of attacking signings though - only Henrique with any real mentions.
They are the music and film industry. That bloke is being sent over there to rot in jail and its not even a criminal act here, its disgusting. Makes as much sense as the US sending everyone whos ever made porn to Iran to be put in jail.
Would it affect Europe as well.....? It only affects us over here as we've (Aus) have signed up to the legislation that runs the US, so effectively, If the US laws are passed to ban certain sites, we have to go along with what they say ( because Australians really want to be American) !! I wasnt aware that a similar agreement was in place in Europe and they could sensor your servers..? I may very well be wrong..?..come on Flyer...?!!
It would affect everyone, for example this site is a .com which means its under US control so it could be wiped off the internet if a corporation wishes, they dont have to prove anything, they have total power over everything if this goes through. A .au or .co.uk would be fine outside the US but they could remove that site for people inside the US. It would basically be like stopping post for everyone if a copied DVD was sent to someone. If you want to know how bad it is, Murdoch fully supports it!
