Would fit our system very well, but would be fighting for a place with Koren, and Brady from what we have seen in the past couple of matches.

As much as I loved him, I firm believer in "Never go back"

Absolutely agree - he is the past, and a wonderful part of it, but the future is the present team

Spot on ^^^^ this. Koren and Brady are the present and future. But thanks for the Great memories Geo. Good Luck wherever you go. Fans can always get out the DVD for a Geo in a City shirt fix.

If he's attracting interest from across Europe he can't be doing too badly. His club might be prepared to let him go because they want to use the fee to signyounger players or keep the club going.

I'd like to see him back if the terms were right.

If not, i'd like to see him back in England, I think he could do a job for a premier league team.

He would love it here at the minute, playing the Koren role.

Was thinking the same myself, some excellent strikes but he was average at best most games. But that could have been due to the system and formations Browny was using.

Would be so hard to turn down Geo but as has already been said, that's the past now. Think calling him average at best is very harsh. Fantastic ball control, wonderful pass and his highly memorable long-range strikes. I do wish we had a player like him though, whose name we would always chant and every time he got the ball people were on the edge of their seats. Despite Korens numerous fantastic goals it doesn't seem to be quite the same. Wish him all the best though!

We have players who should have that impact, but for some reason songs just don't catch on any more. The only new songs that have actually lasted longer than one game in the past year or so are the 'Wearing black and amber when she comes' one and several variations of 'Back to your ****hole'. We really should be singing players' names more often.

I particularly liked a recent effort to squeeze Aaron McLean's name into the 'Just can't get enough' song <laugh>

I'm sure it was Mclean will tear you apart before that.

Whatever it is it's never original, the songs have always been nicked from other teams.

The decent chants that we came up with were for Dawson, Ashbee, & the piss take about Marlon King that everyone nicked afterwards.

The 'handball!' every time someone touches the ball (after opposition fans have been shouting it) annoys me, because I'm convinced we started it at WBA years ago and since then everyone does it.

The chants are there though, Koren has his 'number 10' sing and Stewart is the ideal candidate for the Campbell 'Da da da da' song but for some reason we just don't sing them enough. I remember Campbell used to have his song sung every time he touched the ball even if he messed it up, now it's only when the player is subbed that we actually sing their names.

To add to mine above, remember when we had some golden oldies like the Theo Whitmore's song and the very unique chant for Gary Alexander.
