My selections can definitely be classed as corrupted files. Will have a talk with that Indian gentleman, think I know him, Pishu I think his first name is?

Happy birthday Red - enjoy !

After yesterdays distances overs at Folkestone another course where they tend to make up is Southwell when they have their rare forrays into NH racing, so the overs again today...

Gizz, i like the winning distance markets. Adds another dimension.

Currently distance market is 31.5 / 34.5 lengths with 4 length win in the 1st race.

Worth going over you reckon Grizz?

NAP today has to be Chapoturgeon in the Hunters Chase- 7/2

1.00 Newbury SUD PACIFIQUE 4/1 (BOG)

There are only six runners here for this juvenile hurdle but it still promises to be a fascinating race as all but rank outsider Davids Dilemma displayed plenty of ability when racing on the flat. The current favourite is Grumeti and to be fair he deserves to be after a fantastic performance on his hurdling debut at Taunton where he thrashed Ted Spread by 14 lengths. He is currently as short as 10/1 for the Triumph Hurlde in March and if those prices are to be taken seriously he needs to win again this afternoon. However I don't think this will be an easy race for him as I think Sud Pacifique is a very exciting recruit to hurdling,he was improving all the time on the flat and was rated in the 90s, he finished outside the first three only once from seven starts on the level and today he receives 7lbs from the favourite. The selection may well be better for the outing but I am going to take a chance on him this afternoon. Art History is also respected for the in form John Ferguson yard. This one was still travelling powerfully before running out three from home on his hurdling debut at Doncaster last week

Hello lads and happy birthday Red...I'm 42 and it is all downhill from 40!!

Haven't had a good study yet but seems a good card at Newbury and the 1.10 at Southwell looks a decent contest.

Oddy never had you down as a rear gunner...or RV as a Malcolm for that matter!

    GL lads.

Got to be Grumeti in the first - RV I've totally lost confidence in the highly rated flat types going hurdling. Give me good old fashioned NH types any day of the week <ok>

Don - there are some courses it always seems to make up even when the card is fully of handicaps on good ground, I don't know why but they just do, Folkestone, Bangor, Hereford and Southwell are all courses that tend to go over on good ground. I played over 36 before the first, there'll be a freak 20l in there somewhere.
In the 30s it's a cheap 'overs' play given history IMO....

Nothing wrong with a bit of rear gunning Dex, as long as the LADY is up for it <laugh>

red - after 40 the only pleasures in life are eating, drinking and gambling. A bit like before 40 actually ....................
